The Application And Development Of Comprehensive Materials Class In The Teaching Of Contemporary Painting

In the field of contemporary painting, the usage of material is becoming more and more important. No matter what the students make is figurative painting or abstract painting, it's very necessary for students to master the knowledge of painting with synthesis materials. In this article, teaching cases relate to painting with synthesis materials are chosen from two academies of arts in China and in the USA. And the advantages and the feasibilities of the cases will be studies by analyzing and comparing these teaching cases. The works of contemporary artists will be also studies in the article. I hope to summarize the meanings that the synthesis material has in the teaching of painting and to find the most effective teaching methods in the field of painting with synthesis material through my study.
