| OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the randomized controlled clinical studies on the acute attack of bronchial asthma with traditional Chinese medicine,evaluate the quality of research method,bias;use meta-analysis to analyse the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine intervention in the acute attack of bronchial asthma.METHODS:A search strategy was developed and searched for the Cochrane Library,China Academic Journal Database(CNKI),Chongqing VIP Chinese Sci-Tech Periodical Database(VIP),Wanfang Database,and the Chinese Traditional Medicine Document Retrieval System Database(TCM),which was retrieved from 2009 to December 2017.Screening was strictly in accordance with the established inclusion and exclusion criteria.The Cochrane bias risk assessment tool was used for evaluate the final included data.Heterogeneity tests were performed on the outcomes that could be merged,and meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software to determine efficacy and publication bias.RESULTS:A total of 31 researches were included.A total of 2200 cases were analyzed,of which 1107 were in the treatment group and 1093 in the control group.All 31 studies mentioned randomization and did not mention blinding.None of the 31 studies provided a sample size estimation process,and one study carried out an intentional analysis and explained.CONCLUSION:The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the 31 randomized controlled clinical studies included showed that the total effective rate and lung function of Chinese medicine in the treatment of acute asthma were improved.However,due to the limitations of this study,and the impact of various bias factors on the results of the study,the results of this study need further clinical validation,and to carry out large-scale,multi-center,high-quality clinical randomized controlled trials to amend in the future. |
