Professor Xiao Chengzhen's Clinical Efficacy And Analysis Of Drug Use In The Treatment Of Kidney Deficiency And Phlegm-type PCOS

Objective:Prof.Xiao Chengzong,a famous traditional Chinese medicine gynecologist,has been engaged in TCM teaching and clinical practice at Gynecology for decades.Her clinical experience is extremely rich and the curative effect is remarkable.This project will study and summarize Prof.Xiao Chengzong's theory of syndrome differentiation and treatment,law of drug use and clinical curative effect in treating poly cystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS)so as to be better understood and carrying forward the clinical treatment experience of Prof.Xiao Chengzong with respect to PCOS.Methods:(1)This study started from September 2016 to December 2017.A total of 64 patients who diagnosed with syndromes of kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis and poly cystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)in the gynecological outpatient department of Dongzhimen Hospital were enrolled in the study after meeting the inclusion criteria.The scores of TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment and the comparison of scores of various symptoms,comparison of serum sex hormones,length of ovary and diameter of follicles were compared.SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze Professor Xiao Chengzong's treatment of kidney deficiency and phlegm type using frequency analysis and other statistical methods.The efficacy of cystic ovarian syndrome.(2)132 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome were collected.A total of 1349 Chinese medicine prescriptions for each visit were recorded in Excel software.SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the use of frequency analysis and statistical methods to summarize the treatment of Polycystic ovary syndrome by Professor Xiao Chengzong.law.Results:1 clinical efficacy(1)The total effective rate of 64 cases of kidney deficiency type polycystic ovarian syndrome was 95.31%,of which 22 cases were cured,accounting for 34.38%of the overall rate;11 cases were effective,accounting for 17.19%;28 cases were effective,accounting for 43.75%;3 cases,accounting for 4.69%.(2)TCM syndrome scores and scores of various symptoms were statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.01),demonstrating that Chinese medicine treatment of kidney deficiency type polycystic ovary syndrome is significant for systemic symptoms Improve the role.(3)Statistical analysis of serum sex hormone LH before and after treatment showed a very significant difference(P<0.01).Statistical analysis of serum sex hormone T before and after treatment showed a significant difference(P<0.05).The ratio of LH to FSH before and after treatment was statistically treatment of the left and right ovary lengths showed a very significant difference(P<0.01).After statistical analysis of the short-course treatment of right ovary before and after treatment,there was a significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the short diameter of the left ovary(P>0.05),but the short diameter of the left ovary decreased.The diameter of the left and right ovarian follicles increased aftertreat ment.showing a significant difference(P<0.01).After treatment,dominant follicles appeared.(5)Acne scores,statistical analysis before and after treatment of BMI showed very significant differences(P<0.01),and symptoms improved significantly.2 medication ruleA total of 235 Chinese medicines were used in 19642 TCM prescriptions,with an accumulative frequency of 19642.The meridian frequency of the total medications is in an order as follows:liver,kidney,spleen,heart,lung,stomach,gallbladder,large intestine,pericardium,bladder,tri-Jiao and small intestine;the herbal medicine in a prescription in an order of sweet,bitter,pungent,acid,light,salty and astringent;and the property of a medicine in an order of warm,cold,cool and hot.The medicine is classified as tonifying medicine,medicine in activating blood circulation and removing stasis,heat-clearing medicine,medicine in reliving cough and asthma,diuretics for eliminating dampness,drugs for regulating QI flow,promoting water and infiltrating dampness medicine,regulating qi medicine,antitabular medicine,hemostatic medicine,antiseptic medicine,calming liver and eliminating wind medicine,tranquilizing spirit medicine,collecting astringent medicine,warming medicine,dehumidification medicine,cathartic medicine,resuscitation medicine,among them,tonifying kidney yang,tonifying kidney yin medicine is the most,followed by blood tonic medicine,qi tonic medicine,drugs for relieving exterior syndrome,hemostatics,antiseptic medicine,drugs for calming liver to stop endogenous wind,tranquilizer,astringent medicine,drugs for dispelling internal cold,dehumidification medicine,purgating drug,drugs for inducing resuscitation.Among them,drugs in tonifying kidney-yang and tonifying kidney-yin are the most common medicine,followed by drugs in tonifying blood and qi and lifting yang.The core medications of PCOS with a frequency greater than 40%include dipsacus root,taxillus chinensis,savia miltiorrhiza,caulis spatholobi,radix curcumae,poria cocos,rhizoma drynariae,glossy privet fruit,medlar,amethyst,aangelica sinensis,morinda officinalis,flatstem milkvetch seed,prepared rehmannia root,raspberry,medicinal cyathula root,astragali radix,semen cuscutae,herba lycopi,atractylodes macrocephala and patrinia.Prof.Xiao Chengzong used drugs for liver and kidney,herbs and bitterness and kidney yin and kidney yang to show that the treatment is based on kidneys,focusing on the yin-yang balance of the kidneys.At the same time,according to syndrome differentiation,blood circulation,phlegm,heat-clearing.Conclusion:Poly cystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a kind of endocrine syndrome with multiple pathogenesis,polymorphic clinical manifestations and difficult to cure.In recent years,the achievements of traditional Chinese medicine in treating PCOS can not be ignored.The clinical results by Prof.Xiao Chengzong in treating PCOS is significant.The differentiation thought and clinical medication experience of professor Xiao play guiding and directive roles for clinical practitioners in more effectively treating PCOS in the future.
