PURPOSE:By analyzed the discussion about Stomach Channel of Foot-Yangming(St.)in Lin Zheng Zhi Nan Yi An(Medical Records of Clinical Guidance),to explore Ye Tianshi's understanding on physiological and pathological concepts of St.and its meridian structure,to discuss the correlation between St.and other viscera and meridians,to summarize the discriminate method of St.;This is also a discussion of how to use Ye Tianshi's St.discriminate method to guide the clinical use of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.This study extends the research scope of Ye Tianshi's academic thoughts about meridian,and helps us to understand Ye Tianshi's comprehension of the St.its meridian structure as well as its guiding significance to traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.Let us also get a glimpse of his understanding and application of meridian theory.So we can combine meridian syndrome discrimination with visceral syndrome discrimination.It has profound inspiration and guidance for our clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases.METHODS:This study is based on extensive reading of Ye Tianshi's Lin Zheng Zhi Nan YiAn and Huangdi Neijing and other relevant books.The contents about St.were extracted,and the methods of document cross validation,theoretical deduction and logical reasoning were used on this study.From the Lin Zheng Zhi Nan Yi An,we screened out medical records related to St.and its related viscera meridian structure.This research abstracts the understanding and clinical application of the syndrome differentiation method of the St.and explores Ye Tianshi's inheritance and development of the classic literature of Huangdi Neijing and Shang Han Za Bing Lun and Li Dongyuan's spleen and stomach theory in order to discover the characteristics of his theory.In addition,it combines the syndrome differentiation method of the Foot Yangming stomach meridian with the traditional acupuncture and moxibustion theory,from the characteristics of the meridians and collaterals of the stomach meridian of the Foot Yangming and the related acupoint main treatment,and discusses the guiding significance of the syndrome differentiation method of Foot Yangming stomach meridian to acupuncture clinical.CONCLUSION:Yetianshi's Foot Yangming stomach meridian syndrome differentiation system is rich in connotation.His theory mainly comes from Huagdi Neijing,Shang Han Za Bing Lun and the theory of Li Dongyuan's spleen and stomach,but it also has his development and innovation.He combines the meridian theory and the content of the viscera theory to formed the related concepts of Foot Yangming,such as Yangming vein,stomach collaterals,which has its special connotation and clinical significance Ye Tian Shi has a unique understanding of the relationship between the Foot Yangming and other meridians and collaterals,such as the Jue Yin,Yang Ming,Ying Wei,and Chong Channel.He fully applies it to the differential diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and has formed the related characteristics of medication.In addition,ye Tian Shi also has its own characteristics and clinical value for the understanding of the classical theory of acupuncture and moxibustion,such as 'take Yangming alone to treat the impotence 'and the Qi and organs' promotion and demotion such as Jue Yin and Yang Ming and let us have more profound understanding of the relevant acupuncture theory.In general,Ye Tianshi's Foot Yangming stomach meridian differentiation system has expanded our understanding of the stomach's characteristics of the meridians and Zang Fu.The combination of the syndrome differentiation of meridians and the syndrome differentiation of viscera also provided more ideas for our clinical medication and acupuncture treatment.
