Clinical Observation Of Fukang Granule In The Treatment Of Postoperative Cancerous Fatigue In Breast Cancer

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Qilikang granules for the treatment of patients with cancer-related fatigue after breast cancer operation and then provide the effective clinical evidence for the treatment of cancer-related fatigue with Qilikang granules after breast cancer operation.Methods:60 patients with cancer-related fatigue after breast cancer operation were randomly divided into the treatment group and control one in this study.30 cases in the treatment group were given the oral administration of Qilikang granules,while 30 cases in the control group were given the oral administration of Bazhen granules,where 4 weeks were chosen as one course and lasted for 3 courses in total.Rating scales in this study included piper fatigue scale(PFS),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),profile of mood states(POMS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)and TCM Qi deficiency syndrome scale.The score of mentioned scales was measured before the treatment,at 4th week,8th week and 12th week during the treatment.SPSS 20.0 was adopted for the statistical analysis of data.Results:50 patients finished the treatment in total,where 5 cases had exfoliative cancer cells in the treatment group and 5 cases in the control one.Scores of PFS and TCM Qi deficiency syndrome for patients in the treatment group were significantly decreased at 12th week,with the statistical difference,while scores of POMS,PSQI and SDS were decreased at 4th week,8th and 12th week,with no statistical difference.Scores of PFS for patients in the control group were significantly decreased at 8th and 12th week,with the statistical difference;scores of TCM Qi deficiency syndrome scale were significantly decreased at 12th week,with the statistical difference;scores of POMS,PSQI and SDS were decreased at 8th and 12th week,with no statistical difference.There were no adverse events appeared during the study.Conclusion:Qilikang granules can effectively improve the fatigue syndrome,sleep quality,mood state,TCM Qi deficiency syndrome and depression state of patients with cancer-related fatigue after breast cancer operation with relatively high safety.
