Analysis Of TCM Syndromes Of Sleep Disorders In Patients With Cancer

Tumor is currently a serious threat to human health,especially for patients with advanced cancer.The direct compression of tumors and the adverse reactions caused by antitumor therapy,such as surgery,chemotherapy,radiotherapy and targeted drug therapy,bring great physical harm to patients.Therefore,it is our primary goal to prolong the life of the cancer patients and improve the quality of life.As we all know,sleep disorder is the third common problem that is only to the physical and psychological factors associated with tumor or tumor treatment.It runs through all stages after diagnosis.The decline in sleep quality can seriously affect the quality of life,but also affects the patient's tolerance to treatment,causing emotional disorders in the patient.The decline in sleep Chinese medicine(TCM)has a long history about improving sleep quality.We have accumulated rich experience,formed a relatively complete system of the theoretical basis,dialectical thinking and classical prescription.This paper will develop TCM diagnostic criteria in clinical investigation,summarizes the regularity of TCM syndrome through summarizing lots of literatures and the experience of other researches.And then we will evaluate the curative effect based on syndrome differentiation,the sleep quality scale.The clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment were given for reference.Objective:In order to achieve the following objectives,we should analyze the syndromes of cancer patients associated with sleep disorder and observe the effect of syndrome differentiation and evaluation:(1).We will understand the general situation of sleep disorders in patients with malignant tumor,cause and symptom characteristics;(2)We will understand the TCM Syndromes of sleep disorders in tumor patients,explore their classification rules,elaborate the classification characteristics,and summarize the common syndromes of patients with malignant tumor sleep disorders;(3)We will summarize the commonly used treatment of patients with therapeutic tumor sleep disorder,commonly used prescription,to understand the curative effect of syndrome differentiation and treatment according to the syndrome type.Methods:Methods of syndromes research analysis:" Form of Malignant Tumor Patients With Sleep Disorder Syndrome Research of TCM","Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index"(PSQI)will be drown up to investigate patients' groups which is based on the diagnosis,inclusion and exclusion criteria.We will extract,summarize and analyze the relevant contents about the general situation,the history of the disease,the engraved symptoms,and the symptoms of the syndrome from two forms.Methods of observe the curative effect of research:According to the characteristics of syndrome,patients filled out the " Form of Malignant Tumor Patients With Sleep Disorder Syndrome Research of TCM " and "PSQI" will treated with oral medicine decoction.After a period of 2-4 weeks,we will interrupted the patients to analyze and evaluate the improvement of the patient's symptoms,the outcome of the syndrome and the PSQI score,the curative effect of the patients by visit or telephone.Results:Factors:there were statistically differences on sleep disorder in different age(x2=5.060,P<0.05).there were statistically differences on sleep disorder in the differences of antitumor treatment history(x2=5.156,P<0.05).The situation and rule of Syndrome Distribution:82 patients were enrolled in the 9 syndrome distribution:15 cases of qi deficiency syndrome,the proportion is 18.29%,20 cases of deficiency of heart and spleen syndrome,the proportion is 24.39%,13 cases of disharmony of heart and kidney syndrome,the proportion is 15.85%,8 cases of Yang deficiency syndrome,the proportion is 9.76%,14 cases of heart and lung deficiency syndrome,the proportion is 17.07%,4 cases of blood stasis collateral syndrome standard,the proportion is 4.88%,16 cases of phlegm dampness spleen syndrome,the proportion is 19.51%,6 cases of the heart and liver fire syndrome,the proportion is 7.32%,4 cases of phlegm fire syndrome.the proportion is 4.88%.There are statistically differences on the severity of sleep disorder in different age groups(x2=5.060,P<0.05),the past have differences on the severity of sleep disorders in antitumor treatment history was statistically significant(x2=5.156,P<0.05),there are no statistically difference compared with deficiency syndrome and excess syndrome(P>0.05),,there are statistically differences about deficiency syndrome and excess-deficiency for comparison syndrome(P<0.05).There are no statistically difference between excess syndrome and excess-deficiency for comparison syndrome(P>0.05).Efficacy evaluation:19 cases of asthenia syndrome were relieved,3 cases were not changed,6 cases were aggravated,2 cases of excess syndrome were relieved,1 cases were not changed,1 cases were aggravated,and 4 cases of deficiency and excess syndrome were relieved,0 cases had no symptoms,and 4 cases were aggravated.The total remission was 25 cases,4 cases were not changed,and 11 cases were aggravated.The overall remission rate was 62.50%.There was no statistically difference in the curative effect of 3 syndromes of deficiency syndrome,excess syndrome and excess-deficiency for comparison syndrome(P>0.05).Conclusion:the severity of age and tumor treatment history of tumor patients with sleep disorders;syndrome distribution center Qi deficiency,heart deficiency two,phlegm dampness,spleen disharmony of heart and kidney,heart and lung deficiency syndrome is more common,on the whole,the largest number of cases of deficiency syndrome,followed by the actual card when the simple empirical syndromes of the small number of cases;traditional Chinese medicine has certain curative effect in improving the quality of sleep in patients with tumor.
