Background:Talents are the basis for the inheritance and development of TCM,and they are also guarantees for the innovation and modernization of TCM.In recent years,the state has continuously strengthened the emphasis on the training of Chinese medicine personnel and has issued a series of policy documents,all of which propose to further strengthen the construction of the talent team of Chinese medicine.As the leader of TCM,cultivation of compound academic leader is the foundation for the inheritance,innovation and development of TCM.Evaluation of the effectiveness of training is an important stage in the cultivation of talents.At present,the first training class for compound academic leaders of TCM in Beijing is about to close.This article intends to evaluate its training effect in order to provide reference for the improvement of relevant high-level personnel training model.Objectives:1.By evaluating the training effect of the training course for compound academic leaders in Beijing,this article will summarize the results,analyze the problems,and put forward suggestions,and provide reference for the improvement of the training model of high-level talents in TCM.2.This article initially build a framework for the effectiveness evaluation of the compound academic leader of Chinese medicine,and provide a reference for the evaluation of similar projects.Methods:This study mainly uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to evaluate the training effect of all trainees in the clinical,scientific research,teaching,and management aspects,and asked the participants to evaluate the project satisfaction,summarize training results,identify problems and propose suggestions.In addition,the questionnaire and the interview syllabus are based on the summary analysis of the relevant literature,and the relevant indicators are confirmed through expert consultation.Results:1.Theoretical research results:(1)Concepts:On the basis of literature research,this paper proposes that the leader of the compound Chinese medicine practitioner is a person who has good scientific literacy,extensive knowledge and clinical skills in Chinese medicine,has profound knowledge in the field,and has been recognized by domestic and foreign counterparts.At the same time,they have multiple subject knowledge,and they develop in many areas such as clinical medicine,scientific research,teaching,and management.They are outstanding scholars who can lead academic teams to work together for the development of the field.(2)Evaluation index Framework:Based on literature research and expert consultation,this article initially constructed an index system to evaluate the compound academic leaders of Chinese medicine.It includes 4 first-level indicators,12 second-level indicators and 26 third-level indicators.The first-level indicators are clinical ability,research ability,teaching ability and management ability.2.Empirical investigation results:(1)Basic situation:There were a total of 47 trainees in the training class,each with a professional title,including 32 males(68.09%)and 15 females(31.91%);37(78.72%)from tertiary hospitals and 10(21.28%)from secondary hospitals;27 doctoral students(57.45%),6 masters(12.77%),14 undergraduates or specialists(29.79%);4 positions(8.51%)as dean/party secretary/director,13(27.66%)as vice-president/deputy director,25(53.19%)as director,and served as deputy director 2(4.26%)and no 3(6.38%).(2)Ability assessment:? Clinical ability:Trainees have a high degree of knowledge in TCM and are widely used.They have a significant effect on clinical work.The averagenumber of outpatient per unit is increased by 5(T=247.5,P<0.001),and the clinical self-evaluation before and after the training session is improved by 10 points(T=370.5,P<0.001).Patients scored 98.73 ±2.81 points for trainees of the clinical level and scored 98.79 ± 2.79 points for trainees of their overall impression.? Research ability:Each trainee has an 3 topics,total funding is 600,000 yuan,published 6 papers and 1 book on average.30(63.83%)are served as chairpersons of various levels of society,22(46.81%)are served as editorial board members in related academic journals,and 32(68.09%)are leaders of key disciplines in TCM.The research self-evaluation before and after the training session is improved by 10 points(T=451.5,P<0.001).? Teaching ability:46(97.9%)participated in the teaching work.In four years,they had taught 224 postgraduates,97 doctoral students,172 doctors,285 trainees,and 100 students.They have conducted 514 academic lectures,have participated in 132 television program recordings,have participated in 349 health knowledge presentations,and accumulatively benefiting more than 26,375 person-times,have participated in 37 books on popularization of TCM and have participated 509 volunteer activities,accumulatively benefiting 21,120 people.The teaching science self-evaluation before and after the training session is improved by 5 points(T=473,P<0.001).?Management ability:There are many applications of Chinese medicine policy and discipline management knowledge.The management self-evaluation before and after the training session is improved by 6 points(T=473,P<0.001).? Comprehensive quality:The comprehensive quality self-evaluation before and after the training session is improved by 5 points(T=495,P<0.001).(3)Project satisfaction score:The satisfaction of the participants in the organization's implementation arrangements was above 4.65(out of 5).The activities of the five activities in the form of students' learning in descending order are as follows:Special Lecture>Study Tour>Academic Exchange>Group Discussion>Self-study.The student's overall satisfaction score for the training class is more than 90 points(out of 100 points).During the interview with 8 participants in the training class,the trainees believed that the special lectures were highly rewarding and their self-study received little gain.They proposed to increase special lectures classes,strengthen the study of Chinese classics,scientific research methods,and management knowledge.They also proposed to develop academic communication activities with clear themes,and increase the form of online video learning and discussion.Conclusion:1.The training courses are rich in content and diverse in form.The participation of students is high and the training results are remarkable.The clinical ability,scientific research ability,teaching science ability and management ability of the students have been significantly improved,and the satisfaction of the organization and implementation of the seminars was high.2.Problrms:individual differences between students are large,learning enthusiasm and scientific research results are severely differentiated.The training plan needs to be improved,the academic exchanges are lacking in subject matter,and the individual self-study lacks directionality.The evaluation of cultivation effects needs to be improved Due to the limitation of objective conditions,this evaluation index is biased towards quantifiable data,and the evaluation of training effects is not thorough.Advices:From the perspective of training contents,it is necessary to combine the fusion of disciplines with the training of specialists;from the perspective of training organizations,it is necessary to combine centralized training with online learning;from the perspective of training forms,multiple forms of training should be united and promoted.Judging from the evaluation of training effects,we should explore the construction of a multi-dimensional and multi-mode evaluation model.
