| ObjectiveTo investigate and characteristic analysis of TCM syndrome in patients with primary hyperuricemia.Explore the correlation between TCM syndrome, position of the disease and the state of emotion. And the theory of "liver controlling dispersion" and "liver storing the soul"are further studied, and provide basis for prevention, diagnosis and clinical treatment of patients with hyperuricemia.MethodsIn this study,80 patients with primary hyperuricemia in Dongzhimen Hospital and Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected. The general information, clinical data and laboratory examination results were collected. And data were recorded and analyzed.ResultsIt is found that there is a significant difference between gender and the prevalence of hyperuricemia.Body mass index and prevalence of hyperuricemia are statistically different. And there is a significant difference between smoking and serum uric acid in patients with hyperuricemia. The frequency of single syndromes of 80 hyperuricemia patients is analyzed.Common syndromes of hyperuricemia patients are Qi stagnation,phlegm-dampness,blood stasis and Qi deficiency. There are 6 patients with a single syndrome type, while the rest are combined with multiple syndromes, and 70%of 80 patients with hyperuricemia are intermingled deficiency and excess syndrome. In 80 cases of hyperuricemia patients, the mostly involved viscera is liver, followed by spleen and kidney. The mostly involved viscera of male patients is liver, followed by spleen and kidney. While the mostly involved viscera of female patients is spleen, followed by liver and kidney. There are 40 patients with only one viscera disease position between liver, spleen and kidney, the mostly involved viscera among which is liver, followed by spleen and kidney. The remaining 40 patients are involved in multiple viscera disease. Most of the 40 patients involving all three viscera, followed by patients with liver and spleen disease, and patients with spleen and kidney.According to the analysis of SAS and SDS scores in 80 patients,19 patients(23.75%)have different degrees of anxiety, while 22 patients(27.50%)have different degrees of depression. There is no significant difference in serum uric acid between HUA patients with anxiety and depression and those without anxiety or depression(P>0.05).80 cases of HUA patients are divided into anxiety group, depression group, anxiety and depression group and no anxiety and no depression group according to their SAS and SDS self-test results. There is no significant difference in the level of serum uric acid in each group(P>0.05).There is a moderate positive correlation between the standard scores of SAS and the score of liver symptoms, and there is a moderate positive correlation between the standard scores of SAS and spleen symptom score, which has no correlation between the standard scores of SAS and the renal symptom score. There is a weak positive correlation between the standard score of SDS and the score of liver symptoms, but there is no statistical significance. There is a weak positive correlation between the standard score of SDS and the spleen symptom score, and there is no significant correlation between the standard score of SDS and the renal symptom score.Conclusions1.Among all 80 patients, males are more than females, suggesting that men are more likely to suffer from HUA than women.2.BMI is closely related to the occurrence of HUA,suggesting that obese people are more likely to suffer from HUA.3.Smoking and other life factors may affect the level of serum uric acid in patients with HUA.4.The major syndrome characteristic of early HUA patients are intermingled deficiency and excess syndrome.Common syndromes of hyperuricemia patients are deficiency of Qi,deficiency of Yang,Qi stagnation,phlegm-dampness and blood stasis.5.Most of HUA patients are involved in multiple viscera disease, the mostly involved viscera among which is liver. It is often manifested as stagnation of liver qi,pathogenic fire derived from stagnation of liver-Qi,deficiency and exhaustion of liver-Yin.In addition, the syndromes involved in the spleen and kidney are manifested in Spleen Qi deficiency, damp abundance due to splenic asthenia, and deficiency of kidney-essence.6.The proportion of depressive state in patients with HUA is close to that of the normal ones, and the proportion of anxiety state is significantly higher than that of the normal population. There is no significant difference in the level of serum uric acid between the groups(P>0.05).7.There is a moderate correlation between anxiety and liver and spleen, and no correlation between anxiety and kidney. There is a weak correlation between depression and spleen. There is a weak positive correlation between depression and liver, but there is no statistical significance. There is no correlation between depression and kidney. The range of patients selected in this study is limited, and patients with hyperuricemia often combined with other diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. Those factors may affect the results. It is necessary to expand the sample size and carry out a more large-scale investigation in the further study. |
