Objective:The study is based on different western medicine phenotype groups of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).It mainly discusses the differences of PCOS patients in different western medical phenotypes,TCM syndrome types, and serum sex hormones and metabolic levels. Methods:In the study, from January 2017 to February 2018,the Department of Gynecology, the third affiliated hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, collected 155 cases of PCOS patients.Make a unified CRF form, record patient general data, relevant medical history, physical examination data, four diagnostic data of Chinese medicine, sex hormone index data, metabolism related index data, and group patients according to western medicine phenotypes and TCM syndrome standards to PCOS patients Different phenotypic groups were used as the starting point to analyze the distribution and differences of sex hormones and metabolic abnormalities in patients with different phenotypic groups and TCM syndrome groups, and to discuss the clinical relevance between the two groups. Results:In the study, the majority of patients with Western medicine classic phenotypic group(A phenotype group),kidney deficiency syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome is the most common type of TCM syndrome;the patient’s age is mainly distributed between 23 to 33 years old.The values of BMI and WHR in Kaohsiung’s anovulatory phenotype group and spleen-deficiency and dampness syndrome group were higher than those in other groups. However, the BMI and WHR values in the classical phenotypic group were smaller than those in the other three groups.Patients with Kaohsiung phenotype group, spleen deficiency dampness syndrome group, and kidney deficiency syndrome group had higher incidence of hirsutism and acne, and spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome group had the heavier acne severity.Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome have a high probability of suffering from hyperandrogenism;LH and LH/FSH levels are higher in patients with classic phenotype and liver depression.Kaohsiung’s anovulatory phenotype group and spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome group had higher FINS values than the other three groups, and insulin resistance was more serious. Conclusion:Among the patients with PCOS,the classic western phenotype group, the traditional Chinese medicine kidney deficiency syndrome group, and the qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome group are clinically more common;the patients with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome of Chinese medicine have relatively higher rates of obesity and central obesity.Insulin resistance is more likely to occur;endocrine abnormalities in the spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome groups of different phenotype groups are relatively heavier, and those in the spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome group of the Kaohsiung anovulatory phenotype group are the most severe.
