Meta-analysis Of Si Miao San Plus Orally Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine For The Treatment Of Gouty Arthritis

Purpose:To systematically evaluate the efficiency and safety of Simiao Powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment of gouty arthritis.We use the method of meta analysis to analyze a number of independent researches to provide evidence-based evidence by evaluate its clinical efficacy,adverse reactions,and the CRP,ESR,WBC,in the clinical treatment of gouty arthritis.Data and method:Determine the exclusion criteria,retrieving CNKI knowledge network,The Wan Fang data and Wei Pu chinese science and technology periodical database,The Chinese biomedical database CBM,Pub Med,The Cochrane Library databases.Retrieve period was up to December 2016.Two evaluation member use inclusion and exclusion criteria to select the randomized controlled trials of Simiao Powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment of gouty arthritis.And evaluate the quality of the articles and complete the extraction of data.Use Revman 5.3 software for data processing.Results: 18 randomized controlled trials included,and total of 1335 patients.The experimental group included all use Simiao Powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment and control group were using western medicine,including 5 use colchicine alone,7 use NSAIDs,share colchicine and NSAIDs,3 article using colchicine in acute stage,and use allopurinol in remission.1.A total of 18 articles use total effective rate as effective standard.,meta analysis results showed that the RR = 1.16,95% CI [1.08,1.23],Z = 4.43(P < 0.00001)3.9 articles mentioned use blood UA as observation target,meta analysis show:SMD=-0.82,95% CI [-1.23,-0.41],Z = 3.96(P < 0.01)4.7 articles mentioned use CRP as observation target,meta analysis show:SMD=-0.31,95% CI [-0.69,0.06],Z = 1.63(P = 0.10)5.2 articles mentioned use WBC as observation target,meta analysis show:SMD=-0.73,95% CI [-0.95,-0.51],Z = 6.60(P < 0.01)6.11 articles mentioned adverse events,meta analysis show:RR=0.08,95% CI [0.04,0.14],Z = 8.47(P < 0.01)Conclusion: 1.Total effectiveness of Simiao Powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment of gouty arthritis total effectiveness is better than using single western medicine.2.The Simiao powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment of gouty arthritis can reduce the blood uric acid,ESR,WBC in patients with gouty arthritis effectively.3.cannt illustrate use Simiao powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application to reduce CRP of the gouty patients is better than single use of western medicine.4.The topical adverse reactions of the Simiao powder with Traditional Chinese Medicine for external application in the treatment of gouty arthritis are less than single use western medicine.The therapy which is highly recommended.
