Objective:This research through observation the clinical curative effect of scalp acupuncture, chiropractic treatment of spastic cerebral palsy.Gross motor function score(GMFM-88),modified Ashworth score and comprehensive function score of children with cerebral palsy were compared before and after treatment.Discussing whether there have differences between the two treatments. To provide a reference for clinical treatment of spastic cerebral palsy,in selecting different treatment methods.Method:60 cases of children with spasm infantile cerebral palsy were randomly divided into the scalp-acupuncture group(scalp-acupuncture+ rehabilitation)and the chiropractic group(chiropractic+rehabilitation),with 30 cases in each group.Twenty-nine cases in the scalp-acupuncture group completed the study, with one cases falling out and thirty cases in the chiropractic group completed the study, with no case falling out.Respectively, before treatment, three courses(60)after the two groups of children with gross motor function, limb spasticity and comprehensive function of children with cerebral palsy were assessed, and the resulting data, through the SPSS 16.0 statistical software for within group and between group comparison and effect analysis.Result:1.The comparison on base lines of age and gender between children from two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05),and it had comparability.2.Clinical curative effects of two groups:the total effective rate of the scalp-acupuncture group was 96.55%and the total effective rate of the spine-pinching group was 93.33%.After treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.GMFM-88 scoring:Between the two groups before treatment, the difference was not statistically significance(P>0.05);Compared with before and after treatment, the two groups had significant statistical significance(P<0.01);Comparing the two groups after treatment, the difference was no statistical significance(P>0.05).4.Modified Ashworth spasticity scoring:Comparing the two groups before treatment, there was no statistical significance between the Upper limb group and lower limb group(P>0.05);Comparison within the group before and after treatment upper limb group and lower limb group, the differences were highly significant statistical significance(P<0.01);Comparing the Upper limb group and lower limb group, the difference was not statistical significance(P>0.05).5.Comprehensive Function Assessment of cerebral palsy children:Between the two groups before treatment, the difference was not statistically significance(P>0.05);Compared with before and after treatment, the two groups had significant statistical significance(P<0.01);Comparing the two groups after treatment, the difference was no statistical significance(P>0.05).6.Each items of Comprehensive Function Scores of cerebral palsy children:Between the two groups before treatment group, the difference was not statistically significance(P>0.05);Compared with before and after treatment,in cognitive function, speech function, exercise capacity,self-care ability, social adaptability had significant statistical significance(P<0.01);After treatment, between two groups of cognitive function, speech function, exercise capacity,self-care ability, social adaptability groups were not statistically significance.(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both scalp acupuncture therapy and Chiropractic therapy can play good treatment effects for spastic cerebral palsy children and improve the gross motor function and limb spasticity and comprehensive ability level. To provide a certain reference for the clinical treatment of Child spastic cerebral palsy.
