Purpose:Retrospectively collect the relevant case document of type 2 diabetes patients in department of endocrinology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March to December in 2015.The paper explores the relevance between distribution of such three most common type 2 diabetes as deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome, deficiency of both qi and yin,and deficiency of yin and yang and the normal situation, laboratory examination and chronic complication.Find out precisely the relationship between diabetic Chinese medical pattern and such metabolic index as chronic complication and glycolipid and provide evidences to guide the clinical prevention and treatment.Material and method:Collect 358 cases that are diagnosed as type 2 diabetes patients as deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome,or deficiency of both qi and yin,or deficiency of yin and yang according to the Clinical Guideline of New Drug for Traditional Chinese Medicine made and issued by State Drug Administration in 2002 and record all basic document, body mass index(BMI),glycosylated hemeglobin(Hb A1c),fasting blood-glucose(FPG),two hour blood sugar after meals(2h PBG),fasting c-peptide(FC-P),fasting insulin(FINS),high density lipoprotein cholesterol hdl-c(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterin(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),triglyveride(TG)and the situation of chronic complication to calculate insulin sensitivity index(ISI).Investigate and add up the documents with the form of review as the first choice.Input a series of data in computer to form the data base and it is analyzed with SPSS17.0 software. The statistics(clinical index)is shown as the form of average±standard deviation and compare the teams with independent sample T.Results:1.In 358 type 2 diabetes patients of TCM syndrome, most of them are deficiency of both qi and yin(53.35%).The deficiency of both qi and yin are 191(33.79%),deficiency of yin and yang are 121 and deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome are 46(12.85%).The difference between the ratio of deficiency of both qi and yin and the other two syndrome is statistically important.2.There are 358 patients,in which male are 213(59.5%)and female are 145(40.5%).The gender ration is 1.46:1.Seen from the age,the deficiency of yin and yang is oldest(57.84±6.25)and the other two groups have obvious differences(P<0.05);seen from the illness process, the deficiency of yin and yang is longest(7.16±3.09)and its compare with deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome is meaningful.(P<0.05).3.Compared the BMI,the deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome is higher than the other two groups(26.68±4.02)kg/m2;compared the FPG,deficiency of yin and yang is higher than the other two groups(12.16±1.58)mmol/L;compared the 2h PBG,the deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome is the highest(16.26±5.19)mmol/L;compared the Hb A1 c,deficiency of yin and yang is higher than the other two groups(8.39±1.52)%;compared the FINS,FC-P and ISI,deficiency of yin and yang is lower than the other two groups.4.Compared the lipid metabolism index TG?TC?HDL?LDL in these three groups, the HLD-C and TG of the deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome are higher than the other two groups. The LDL-C of deficiency of yin and yang is higher than the other two groups. The TC of deficiency of both qi and yin is higher than the other two groups.5.Compared the chronic complication of type 2 diabetes patients,DPN 200(55.8%),DR 185(51.7%),DN 98(27.4%),AS 292(81.6%).In the group of deficiency of yin and yang,DPN 79(65.2%),DR 79(65.2%),DN 40(33.1%),AS 120(99.1%),which are all higher than the other two groups.Conclusion:1.The most common syndrome in diabetes is deficiency of both qi and yin.2.In view of age and illness process, patients of deficiency of yin and yang are oldest and have the longest duration;patients of deficiency of yin and excessive heat are the youngest and have the shortest duration.3.The disorders of glycometabolism and lipid metabolism are most serious in deficiency of yin and yang. The reduce of HLD and rise of LDL are most obvious.4.Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is the most common. The chronic complication morbidity in deficiency of yin and yang is highest.
