Purpose:To explore efficacy in therapy of the application of the replacement of the biological artificial extended stem femoral head to the femoral intertrochanteric fracture on elderly patients.Material and method:During Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2014, 30 elder patients with femoral intertrochant eric fracture, whose ages were over 75 years,were chosen to adopt the repla cement of the biological artifical extended stem femoral head as the treatm ent.Results:1.All the patients were healed as expected. The tracking surveys are followed with the patients.The tracking surveys were conducted in 3 to 24 months, with the average of(11.40±6.05) months.2.According to the comparison on the age,gender,Evens classification of the fracture and preoperative complications of the patients, there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05). 1.There was no statistically difference on the recent postoperative complications, while there was no statistically difference on the last Harris score difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The biological stability of the biological artificialextended stem femoral head was proved to be well performed,which is proved the biological artificial extended stem femoral head is an reliable method to cure the femoral intertrochanteric fracture on elderly patients. |
