| Background Intertrochanteric fracture is one of the common fractures in the elderly patients with osteoporotic, about 3.1% of adult fractures. It is about 65% of them are unstable fractures. It is a serious threat to the health of patients.Without timely diagnosis and treatment, the mortality will increase. There are many treatments for Intertrochanteric fracture,PFNA and FHR are the most popular treatments.Which is the better come to be a important issue. There are so many researches on PFNA and FHR.But the study about choicing PFNA or FHR for intertrochanteric fractures with lateral wall risky and fractural of elderly patients is very few. Objective Compare the early clinical efficacy of FHR and PFNA in the treatment of osteoporotic femoral intertrochanteric fractures with lateral wall risky and fractural for elderly patients.Investigate the clinical efficacy, characteristics and which is more suitable for patients.Help clinicians choose appropriate treatment. Methods From Jan.2014 to Apr.2016,Clinical data of sixty-four elderly osteoporotic patients diagnosed intertrochanteric fractures were analyzed retrospectively.Among them twenty-seven were treated with FHR and thirty-seven were treated with PFNA.The perioperative indicators and the postoperative Harris hip score in both groups were compared. Results All of sixty-four patients were followed up for at least 6 months.Compared withthe PFNA group, the postoperative ambulation time and hospital stay were lower in FHR group, the Harris hip score was better in FHR group after 2 weeks,1 month,3 months and 6 months follow-up(P<0.05).The incision length, operation time and operational blood loss in FHR group were higher than those in PFNA group(P<0.05).Conclusion FHR for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in the elderly patients with osteoporosis has reliable effect, earlier the hip joint function recovery. |
