The patients in the test group were treated with tiaopao-tang legislated with shugan-zishen, Addition and subtraction were based upon syndrome differentiation; the control group was treated with Tartrate Tolterodine stator. At the same time the dactor guided all of the patients with bladder training (timed voiding).Results:1. The total effective rate:after treatment, the total effective rate of the test group was96.7%, while73.3%in the control group. Compared between the two groups, P=0.024<0.05, there was significant difference, indicating that the treatment effect of the test group was better than the control group.2, The comparison of quantitative indicators(1)Comparison in the group:The diurnal urine times, nightly urine times*average urine output of each tine?the times of urge incontinence in24hour, score of quality of life?score of lower urinary symptom of the test group and control group after treatment compared with the num of before treatment, the P <0.05, Significant statistical difference; It meant that the treatment method of two groups was effective in improving the symptoms of overactive bladder.(2) Comparison between two groups:after treatment, the comparison of diurnal urine times. average urine output of each tine?score of quality of life?score of lower urinary symptom of the test group between control group's, P<0.05, there was significant statistical difference? The nightly urine times and times of urge incontinence in24hour of the test group, compared with the control group, P>0.05, not statistically significant. It meant the test group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms of overactive bladder.3?The comparison of dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation between the test group and contral group, P<0.05, there was significant statistical difference, indicating that the num of the test group was less than the control group in dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation. Conclusion:The shugen-zishen on treatment of overactive bladder of postmenopausal women was safe and effective.
