From Watt heard the grandmother's teapot sounding with steam to Musk's Falcon Heavy successful launch,human has taken a few hundred years to prove what a technology explosion is.The relationship between the human and the product is undergoing an earthshaking change,in rich-material and source-open-information modern time.Science and technology split the realistic society into negative and positive side like a double-edged swords,People are also constantly reflecting on their current behavior.In the trend of product design,Ben Watson,executive director of Herman Miller,summed up the development trend of "people not only pursue material desires,but also yearn for the mental sustenance behind material".Combining the background of this era,the author puts forward the concept of non-completion design through the time line based thinking model.The concept of non completion is not a form of "new differentiation",but based on case analysis and historical documents as the basis of theoretical support.The concept advocates that the product users have a close interaction with the product itself,breaking through the new and old changes in the general product and achieving the goal of the non completion cycle.In this process,some of the incidental positive elements will be reflected.In addition to conceptual research,the author also combines graduate project follow-up tutorial project "Chinese manual industry ecological research and local policy recommendations",based on the people's craft as the basis for the implementation of the concept.Through the analysis of civilian creation and the practice of folk handicraft,the author explores the feasibility of the concept of non completion.Combined with the professional background and design thinking of the author's home product design,it demonstrates the feasibility of non completion concept based on folk handicraft.Finally,through the introduction of cross boundary design thinking,the concept of non completion is prospected.I hope that the concept of non completion can become a complete set of thinking system,and become an effective tool to solve problems,such as vine widely spread,and even fonn a culture.
