A Study Of The Effects Of Mindfulness And Expected Sentiment On Pilot Accidents

With the progress and development of science and technology in aviation field,the incidence of aviation accidents has decreased in recent years.But the probability of accidents happened still can not be ignored.Investigation of the incident should be the focus of research in the field of aviation safety incidents,reflects the behavior of pilots.At the same time,the cause of equipment failure is no longer the main reason of flight accident,now the biggest threat to aviation safety is not safety factor,aviation safety is the core content of research in the field of aviation,human factors play a crucial role in aviation safety.Improving the human factor has become the main way to further reduce the aviation accident rate and improve the level of aviation safety.Therefore,the research tendency of accidents and safety behavior during the flight the pilot will become the theme of this paper.Mindfulness has been widely used in the field of psychological counseling,and has been effectively applied,but in the aviation field,the study of mindfulness is still in its infancy.Most previous studies from personality,cognitive or combination of cognitive and personality two factors influence on safety behavior of pilots,therefore,the research scope of mindfulness extended to the field of aviation,pilots in different levels of mindfulness to study its safety behavior,difference.The practice of mindfulness training was added to the pilot training program to enhance the safety behavior tendency of the pilots.In addition,on the basis of previous studies,emotional factors are added to expand the scope of the study.The research on the pilot’s emotion focuses on the emotion of anxiety and depression,and introduces the concept of anticipatory emotion.In this paper,the following two studies were carried out through literature review,expert opinion and questionnaire survey:Based on the previous research,this study examined the influence of two factors on personality and cognition.First,to explore the relationship between mindfulness and incidents,and further research on risk perception and experience in the role of flight.The results show that the negative correlation between the level of mindfulness,and incidents at the same time,risk perception plays an intermediary role between mindfulness and incident,the flight experience play a regulatory role between mindfulness and incident.Study 2 on the basis of previous studies,adding emotional factors,to examine the impact of the expected emotions on the pilot’s safety behavior,and then explored the role of the pre response level in the two.The results show that the positive expectations were negatively related to emotions and incidents,proactive coping played a completely mediating role between negative emotion and expectation;incident was positively related to proactive coping in the middle part of the intermediary role.In this paper,the research on the internal influence mechanism of the pilot’s safety behavior tendency in the Chinese cultural background will help to verify the existing research results and expand the scope of application.Most of the existing research results support that personality,cognition and emotion can affect the safety behavior of pilots,however,there are few studies on the impact of their behavior on safety behavior.In addition,in the field of aviation,research on mindfulness level and anticipated emotion is less,therefore,this study explores the effects of mindfulness level and expected emotion on pilot safety behavior intention,and further investigate the internal impact mechanism,which provides a new idea for further research.On the one hand,the results of the study can help the airline pilots to understand and adjust their own level of mindfulness and expected emotions to become a qualified pilot.At the same time,to provide guidance and training for the evaluation of effect of a set of airline pilots’ selection unit,driving behavior of scientific and effective evaluation tool for Chinese aviation enterprises,so as to enrich and supplement the pilot selection and training system.
