In engineering,the methods of compaction detection include: nuclear density meter method,sand irrigation method,ring knife and other detection methods.The traditional detection method has the advantages of reliable detection data,simple instrument operation,low detection efficiency and great destruction.SDG200 soil density instrument has certain stability and reliability,easy operation,safety,real-time,rapid,large data storage capacity and repeatable measurement etc.in a diameter of 28 cm,30 cm depth on the use of.According to the current domestic and foreign research results of compaction test and the related standard,SDG as the main research object of soil density gauge,ring method as a comparison,in order to explore the impact test results of SDG soil density gauge accuracy,stability and the strength characteristics and improve the role.First of all,the indoor contrast test of SDG soil density meter was carried out to explore the setting of pre parameters and its influence rules.And then change the external environment,combined with the engineering practice of outdoor prototype test.Finally,combined with the data obtained from the experiment,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)SDG soil density gauge pre parameter,displayed on the instrument data and not all settings,only the plastic index,maximum dry density,the range of Depth impact on the test results,the influence range of the other parameters are within the permissible error range.(2)the surface roughness of the tested soil,the content of gravel and impurities,the loose soil on the surface of the soil or the disturbed soil,and the metal,wire and electromagnetic around the test points have a greater impact on the test results.(3)SDG density was detected soil moisture values represent the actual water can not accurately rate values,the main reason lies in the deviation of SDG soil moisturedensity gauge rate detection principle and the traditional moisture detection path and the physical meaning of the differences.(4)the detection of SDG density meter soil compaction degree detection of cutting ring are closely related,through the SDG value fitting and cutting ring value,can get the R square value is 0.844.SDG soil density detector has good repeatability and stability.In summary,SDG soil density gauge and soil compaction test instrument is the most advanced,fast detection speed,accurate data,detection,will not damage the dam structure,avoid the dikes and highway engineering excavation engineering repair,traffic congestion and other problems and risks.
