Researches around the innovative use of construction materials, breaking through the building height, the combination of various structures,or designing new structures have all already became hot topics in the academic field. This paper designs a new structure called spatial skip-floor staggered shear wall structure, which reduces large amount of shear walls compared with the traditional shear wall structure. The new structure not only cut the construction cost, but also decreases the self-weight of structure. This paper studies the seismic behavior, mechanical properties, and lateral stiffness of the new structure if they meet the structural design code when it owns the obvious advantages in the flexibility of room arrangement and economical aspect. The modal analysis and elastic-plastic analysis traditional structure and the new structure both simulated in ANSYS based 12-floor finite element models.A nonlinear seismic time history analysis is done to the new structure and the traditional structure based on the ANSYS / ISDYNA module, and then comparing the outcomes of two different structures. The nonlinear seismic time history analysis is the center part of this paper, according to the code, the EL-CENTRO wave,Ninghe Tianjin wave and Shanghai artificial wave is chosen as the proper seismic wave.Comparing the maximum floor shift values and the maximum inter-story displacement angle under these three seismic waves with the standard requirements and finally find the two structures both meet the design code. |
