Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays, the structure of the high-rise building is becoming more and more complicated in order to meet the people’s growing demand of the material. It is becoming popular because the structure with staggered floor can meet the room’s requirements of different floor height in the same floor layout and its unique sense of space. The so-called staggered floor has floor height differences in the same floor of the building. This structure is belonged to a architectural design mode which there is internal vertical space change, the advantage is each functional area of house is well-proportioned,living comfortable and convenient, more in line with people’s living psychology and many domestic and foreign architects are fond of it.However, as a kind of structure system, it has a complicated structure and its seismic response of the earthquake is very different from the ordinary structure. The staggered floor has disadvantages of the structure’s seismic resistance mainly on two aspects:(1) The short component of vertical is easily emerging in staggered floor, such as the short wall and short column can cause the stress concentration in weak parts because of the huge lateral stiffness during the force-loading.(2)The staggered floor lead to the uncontinuous of the floor, weak the coordination of the whole floor and easy to cause the non-uniform of the mass distribution of the structure and the stiffness variation of the structure. So specialized research and demonstration are needed to its reaction under the earthquake, and special strengthen measures should be taken to ensure the safety of the project. This paper is based on the background of a high-rise shear wall structure with staggered floor,This article introduce the analysis according to the following work:1.Combined with the seismic design based on performance, determine the seismic performance objectives of the structure and component and make seismic design of the structure;2.Throughing the SATWE program, the response spectrum analysis under the frequent earthquake is done. The result shows this staggered floor structure calculated by three different modeling methods do not have big differences, the performance index can meet the requirements of specification, and can meet the "no damage under small earthquakes" goal;3.Putting forward a simple and practical method of the staggered floor’s stiffness calculation. In order to make up for the lack of response spectrummethod for estimation of the upper structure of the earthquake, this paper also make the elastic time history analysis;4.By using PUSH&EPDA program, the elastic-plastic analysis under the rare earthquake are also made. The result shows that the elastic-plastic story drift angle can meet the specification requirement, staggered wall and the main lateral load resistance component to are not destroyed. This structure meet the the requirement of “no collapse under rare earthquake”.Based on the above analysis, staggered floor structure has limited effects on the whole structure which main component to resist lateral force is the shear wall.Taking effective seismic measures can meet the performance goals.
