The inherent simplicity,ruggedness,great efficiency and low cost of a switched reluctance motor(SRM)make it a potential candidate for adjustable speed application.However,owing to its nonlinear electromagnetism characteristic,the torque ripple of motor is much more severe than other drive system.it is widely applied in many industrial speed-regulating fields.As its special structure and operate mode,traditional off-line simulation can't satisfy the verification of the strategies.And HWIL simulation technology has been used more and more in these situations.Therefore,in this paper,a SRM HILS p is developed based upon dSPACE.And basic control algorithm of switched reluctance motor is verified on the platform.Task accomplished mainly followes:Firstly,the SRM and dSPACE real-time simulation system are introduced and the developing process and hot issue of SRM are also summarized,as well as the operating principle,working mode,mathematic model etc.This paper specifies the principle of the hardware-in-loop simulation,the composition of dSPACE real-time system and technical feature of DS1005 board and DS5202 board.According to the SRM's nonlinear characteristic and dSPACE hardware-in-loop simulation theory,this paper design the SRM speed-regulating system platform based on dSPACE.The dSPACE real-time system acts as the controller to function,which is the core of the whole system.Additionally,this system also covers power circuit,collecting and monitoring voltage and current signals,capturing position and multi-protection system.Secondly,collecting accurate position and commutation is necessary to realize SRM high-precision control.This paper achieves the Hall-sense angle subdivision based on digital frequency multiplier and establishes the hardware-in-loop simulation model with monitoring position on dSPACE and reaches high-precision SRM angle control.On setting up the platform,the upper computer software design on SRM speed-regulating system with dSPACE is accomplished.Besides,the current chopping control in low speed,PWM control in intermediate speed and angle position control in high speed.Under different speeds,the optimal control logic could be made true by converting turn on angle and turn off angle.the paper introduces the switched reluctance motor speed control system based on dSPACE software implementation,implements the switched reluctance motor in different torque speed under different control mode,and designs the up and down a machine CAN application layer protocol for communication,and communication time delay is analyzed the real-time compensation.Online simulation results show that the real-time digital simulation can implement concurrent engineering,shorten the development time,cut down the cost of development,has good quickness and reliability,in the development and testing phase real-time closed-loop test can replace the actual controller system.For similar electric drive control system design and debug provides a new train of thought.
