Research On Smart Home Systems Based On ZigBee And Linux Technology

With the rapid economic development and science and technology constantly improving, people's pursuit of quality of life has become increasingly high. Now this trend will eventually improve the quality of life to people, and provide efficient, intelligent, safe, comfortable, convenient way of life.Considered the number of factors in the overall system's scalability, reliability, cost,power consumption, maintenance convenient, and based on the use of embedded ARM and Linux, Zigbee's wireless network communications, sensors, sqlite3 database, microcontroller and Qt graphical applications interface technology, this paper puts forward and completes the solution of embedded smart home systems. The solution contain hardware circuit design, power management circuit, serial communication circuit, flash storage circuit, core board minimum system and application software development to verify the feasibility of this design. Embedded smart-home system consists of three parts: home server, coordinator, endpointers. And mainly achieve the function that watch the datas of sensor in different rooms and control the state of lights and curtains. The system chooses S3c6410 processor chip, u-boot, embedded Linux, sqlite3 database, Qt graphical interface. A wireless communication network in the system uses the chip CC2530 of TI to provide Mesh-network and the protocol Z-Stack. It is convenient to control the base modules and easy to extend.Finally, this paper introduce system testing, and it contains function testing and system testing. Testing results show that the system can run stably and reliably, achieve the functional requirements of embedded smart home system before designed. and reach the multiple indicators already set: low power, low cost, easily scalable, easy to use.
