In recent years, the number of large and complex project is increasing in China, this present new challenges to technology innovation, and the contradiction is the technology innovation ability of project is insufficient. To solve this problem, it is essential to strengthen the understanding of the key influence factors and its mechanism of influence to capability of technology innovation of large and complex projects. At present, the research perspective of the construction engineering technology innovation is gradually shift from enterprise to the project, But it still lacks the research of technology innovation ability, and the existing research is not systematicThis article study on the innovation capability of large and complex project technology. Analyze the characteristics and process of technological innovation of large scale complex project and reveal the operation rules of its technological innovation. Based on the field investigation and literature research, the influencing factors of the innovation ability of the large and complex project technology are explored. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out by means of questionnaire survey and SPSS22 software, and 5 key influencing factors are obtained:internal control mechanism, boundary spanning, innovation network, resource integration, intellectual capital and the influencing factors were systematically analyzed. The structural equation model was constructed with AMOS22 and the effect mechanism of key influence factors on technological innovation capability is analyzed, the results show that the five key influencing factors not only exist covariation relationship have positive effect on technological innovation capability, and still exist causal relationship, internal control mechanism have positive effect on boundary spanning and resource integration, boundary spanning have positive effect on innovation network and resource integration, innovation network have positive effect on resource integration, resource integration have positive effect on intellectual capital. Based on the analysis of the key influencing factors and the mechanism of action and case study, then come up with the improve strategy of innovation capability of large and complex project technology:through the integration of organization management mode, strengthen the ability of core organizer and keeping the boundary permeability and stability to realize boundary spanning; building technology innovation network; establish mechanism of benefit sharing and the division of rights and responsibility, mechanism of incentive and the mechanism of knowledge management; carry resource integration and foster intellectual capital. The purpose of research is to improve innovation capability of large and complex project technology, and to promote the realization of the goal of technological innovation, and provide reference for the management of technological innovation.
