Viewed from the long process of history,the close relationship between fashion and architecture has been existing over the centuries.Macroscopically,fashion and architecture are the important physical embodiment of human life and consciousness,they must be hosted of traditional aesthetic and artistic values.Microscopically,they two belong to practical art,so they must have similar characteristics and design thinking.Based on this,the essay is able to expand.The facade of architecture can motivate the generation of related things such as structure,function and space:the fashion has skin properties to wrap around human body,building skins are also an important part of architecture;with visual feedback,the fashion and the facade of architecture both can convey information and feeling visually quickly and visually.Therefore,the analysis of them is based on this kind of theory.In this paper,along the thread of the basic framework of fashion and architecture,taking the common relation between fashion and facade of architecture as the theoretical basis,and the analogy comparison as the researching method,the main content is divided into four chapters(Chapters 2 to 5).Chapter 2 establishes the relationship between the two at the macro level,comparing the characteristics and similarities of each period under the historical development,and organizing the cross-border exchanges and mutual infiltration in art history.Chapter 3 is to build the common relationship between the two parts at the micro level from the constitution of plane,the construction of color,the space division and the structure commitment.Chapter 4 analyzes the constructing techniques of the boundary with specific cases,and analyzes them from four aspects:boundary remodeling,internal and external transformation,digestion and weakening,and folding strengthening.And the fifth chapter Five summarizes the significance and inspiration of fashion on the facade of architecture.Not to addressing every aspects of architectural design,this paper is written with the purpose to explore the possibility of the inspiration from fashion on the facade of architecture,and to develop more creative thinking.
