Research And Design Of Sun Protection Gloves

Firstly,the principle and the influencing factors of anti-ultraviolet on textiles were briefly described,the methods to improve the capable of anti-ultraviolet on textiles were summarized,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods were compared in the article by reading a large number of literatures.Focusing on the aspects of fiber materials,fabric construction parameters,dyeing and textile modification.In addition,the progress of anti-ultraviolet textiles was introduced with expect of providing evidence for further research on them.Secondly,the questionnaire survey was carried out to explore consumers'cognition,preferences and requirements of sunscreen gloves.There were 303 questionnaires distributed.The sunscreen demand of Customers' cognition for season,the preference for colors,styles and fabrics of sun-protective gloves were analyzed.The research of sunscreen gloves in physical stores and online stores shows that sunscreen gloves are mainly sold in online stores.Most of them are knitted fabrics made from ice silk,cotton,nylon and polyester with fixed styles,lacking of change and UV index sign,and wearing comfort is poor.In the past,the research on gloves focused on the aspect of improving its function through science and technology,lacking the study of the techniques of glove decoration,the structural features of different types of gloves and consumers' preferences for different styles of gloves.In order to solve the above questions,the decoration techniques of gloves' color,style,decoration and pattern were summarized,and the structural characteristics and design essentials of different kinds of gloves were analyzed in the paper by the methods of reading historical documents,market research and comparative analysis.Exploring consumers' preferences and expectations for different styles of sunscreen gloves according to the findings of the survey,the paper provides a reference for designers to develop sunscreen gloves.Thirdly,performance of the typical sunscreen gloves and fabrics on the current market were tested including thickness,anti-ultraviolet,moisture permeability and permeability.Eleven pairs of sunscreen gloves from the survey styles were selected to test the UPF,only 5 pairs were up to the standard-GB/T18830-2009.We selected 33 kinds of fabrics and tested them about thickness,anti-ultraviolet,moisture permeability and so on.On the basis of the fabric test experiment,14#and 24#was selected to be used in subsequent sample gloves experiment.Finally,the sunscreen functional gloves design experiments were carried out to meet the typical occasions with high sunscreen demand such as vehicle driving,cycling,outdoor work and other occasions.Personal interview were conducted to understand their wearing needs for each occasion.Wearing environment and wearing motion are analyzed.Based on this,this paper designed 3 pairs of gloves.We also conducted gray fabric sample experiment,sunscreen fabric sample experiment and real human wear experiment with these 3 pairs of gloves.The comprehensive evaluation was carried out and the result of the evaluation was good.The paper lays the foundation for subsequent similar research and provides a reference for the design of sunscreen gloves.
