Research On Application Of Needle Felted Technique Of Wool Fiber In Garment Accessories

In this paper, based on the material properties of the wool fiber, taking needle felted technique in anhydrous felting technique as the foundation, questions such as application feasibility, application method, exterior shape and aesthetic characteristics of needle felted technique of wool fiber in ferment accessories were mined and analyzed with details. The concept innovation and technique innovation of needle felted technique in costume design were conducted with related discussion and experiment at the same time.The application manifestation pattern of needle felted technique in garment accessories was researched with emphasis.The following three aspects of research and experiment were mainly carried on in this article:First, through the analysis and induction of needle felted technique of wool fiber from aspects of operating principles, application status and technological characteristics, the application feasibility and specific application way of this technique in costume design was expounded.Second, morphological shape, color matching and decorative texture shape of needle felted technique in costume design was expounded with example, which provides concrete implementation ways for both functional and decorative expression ways of needle felted technique of wool fiber implication in garment accessories.Third, the innovative applications of wool fiber in garment accessories was elaborated with details based on innovation of theory and practice, which provides new ideas and way for application of needle felted technique of wool fiber in garment accessories and the above theory was proved and implemented through designing experiment.To sum up, the following conclusions were reached: application of needle felted technique of wool fiber in garment accessories is feasible in craft technique and aesthetic category and it meets requirements of both functional and decorative functions in garment accessories’ design and development. This study aims to inspire people to carry forward and inherit the needles felted technique and wool fiber art and provide theoretical reference worthy of learning for related disciplines by designing effective labor in creation and creating new values.
