The Two-dimensional Barcode Recognition Comparison System Design Of The Cigarette Package

As a new type of information carrier,two-dimensional bar code technology has become a common application in industrial production process.With the improvement of production automation,the two-dimensional bar code recognition and detection technology based on machine vision has been a hot topic.In this paper,tobacco packing box two-dimensional bar code recognition and matching system based on visual reading technology is designed for Qingdao Cigarette Factory.The identification and comparison of the two-dimensional bar code with the product information on tobacco packing boxes are realized.The system is composed of a host computer,a photoelectric switch,a Cognex DataMan code reader and a PLC.The Cognex DataMan code reader completes identification and comparison of the two-dimensional bar code on tobacco packing box.The detection result can be transmitted and stored to host computer through Ethernet communication between host computer and Cognex DataMan code reader.The main results are as follows.(1)The types of two-dimensional bar code and the principle of different code system are introduced.The error correction algorithm for generating DataMatrix two dimensional bar code,the encoding and decoding principle of DataMatrix are introduced emphatically.(2)The characteristics of Cognex intelligent code reader-DataMan 302 x are introduced,including the communication principle and configuration,code reader high-speed output and trigger mode,code reader selection is then completed.The hardware system based on DataMan 302 x reader is designed,the construction and debugging of the system are completed.(3)The framework and procedure of constructing two-dimensional bar code recognition and comparison software are introduced.In VS2010 development environment,the bar code recognition software system based on DataMan 302 x intelligent reader is designed with C#.Ethernet communication between the host computer and the code reader is completed.By this,data acquisition operation from code reader can be achieved.The recognition and comparison result is stored in database EXCEL.The classified query function of recognition result based on EXCEL is designed.The functions of user login and products two-dimensional code selection based on ACCESS database are also designed,it is convenient for user's application.Two-dimensional code detection system of cigarette packing box has been usedstably for two years in Qingdao Cigarette Factory.The system has realized the automatic detection of bar code information on packing boxes,which facilitates the monitoring,data storage and data backup for the production process,and improves the production efficiency of enterprise.
