Ball Screw Sub-outer Raceway Processing Technology And Equipment Development

Based on the major national science and technology project:" Common Technology Research and Capacity Building of Functional Component Testing(2016ZX04004007)",the experimental research on the processing technology and equipment development of the outer raceway of ball screw is carried out.The processing technology of ball screw is the focus and difficulty in the study of ball screw machining process,which directly affects the precision and service performance of ball screw.Perfecting the processing technology of the outer raceway of the ball screw and realizing the research and development of the technical equipment are of great significance to the development of the domestic equipment manufacturing industry.During this process,the grinding method of screw raceway and the related detection program is formulated.The grinding tools and a grinding test bench are completed.The grinding experiment and data analysis and summarize the conclusion are finished.Firstly,the research status of ball screw at home and abroad is discussed.This paper analyzes the shortcomings and requirements of the raceway processing at home and abroad,expatiates the reasons of raceway failure from the theories and introduces the detection methods of screw rod.As a basis for the study.According to the characteristics of the screw raceway,the existing surface processing technology is analyzed,and The grinding mechanism is introduced in detail.According to the grinding process,the detection program of screw raceway is formulated.Mainly including stroke error detection,roller shape detection,surface roughness detection,surface residual stress detection,and the influencing factors of the detection process are analyzedAfter finishing the formulation of the screw raceway grinding program and testing program,to start grinding tool design and set up a test stand,and start grinding test.According to the experimental data,the influence of grinding process on the technical index and surface quality of the screw are analyzed.Finally,the problems in the test are summarized,and this paper makes suggestions for improving the grinding tools and the test program,designs the R&D plan of the screw raceway grinding equipment.
