With the China economic development strategy began to shift to the west and the implementation of strategic plan for the development of western regions, highway construction in loess district was developed rapidly, the actual implementation of regional projects will be confronted with many construction problems encountered geological terrain because of different geographical conditions, and geological aspects performance is particularly prominent, the highway is composed by the roadbed, bridges and culverts, tunnels, due to the current construction costs is bigger, and higher degree of attention, the problems of bridges and tunnels is fewer, however roadbed construction gene rough outline, not a control engineering, the lower degree of importance of each project leads to problems occurred frequently in project construction, in the past ten years highway subgrade slope construction problems exposed especially obvious. So, evaluate highway slope stability accurately, and advances some protective measures, so as to make the project of landslide is safe and suitable for engineering.This paper takes Tong-Huang highway landslide as the research object, and the engineering geological condition, weather, hydrological characteristics in the study area, landform, stratum lithology and basic geological condition of landslide and so on has elaborated in detail. Seriously analyzes the four representative landslide, structure, morphology, deformation and sliding surface and so on the characteristics of the sliding zone, and puts forward the causes of the landslide around. By analyzing the reasons for the formation of the landslide, learn about that the weak structural plane and the conditions of high surface is the main factor that sensitive factors affecting the formation of the landslide. Finally, the necessity of landslide control scheme is put forward according to the actual engineering situation, economy and practicality, the engineering measures have anti-slide pile, anti-sliding retaining wall and window frame slope protection and drainage measures protection method, the effect of the combination of needs to pay attention to in the process of the landslide prevention measures construction and related matters.This paper is based on the Tong-Huang highway actual project, in view of the landslide formation reasons and discusses the countermeasures of landslide, highway in the future treatment of similar landslides have certain reference significance.
