Research On Land-use Efficiency And Influence Factors Of Small And Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises Of Shanxi Province

Shanxi is famous for heavy industry, its structure is mainly based on industry which has great influence on Shanxi's economic development. But due to the decline of coal's price and the situation of surplus production, the economic of Shanxi is facing severe challenges. As the large industrial enterprise suffers bottleneck, transformation about the mode of the economic development, in-depth reform of the industry, and the rapid development of small and medium-sized enterprises had become the key to Shanxi's transition. Therefore, the evaluation of land-use efficiency and the research of influence factors about small and medium-sized industrial enterprises play an important role in improving the land use intensity and promoting economic development.In this study, based on the research of numerous land-use efficiency theory, information about the land utilization status of small and medium-sized enterprises in 11 cities of Shanxi province were collected by questionnaire, the efficiency of industrial land-use was evaluated with the help of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model, and its impact factors were analyzed by the application of the research methods such as Tobit model, contrastive Analysis. The results show that:(1) There are large differences among areas of the land use efficiency in small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, the comprehensive efficiency of land utilization in Taiyuan, Linfen, Yuncheng and Lvliang are higher, and in Xinzhou and Yangquan are relatively lower. (2) The main factors which affecting the land-use efficiency of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Shanxi province include the external macro factors like the average GDP, the average financial income, population scale, industrialized rate, foreign investment ratio, export delivery value of industrial enterprises and its own industrial structure factors. The six factors all positively related to the land-use efficiency of the small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Shanxi province. Comparing the influencing factors of land-use efficiency of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises at the present stage, the population scale have bigger impact than the industrialized rate, the average financial income and foreign investment ratio; in the top ten industries, the land-use efficiency of mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, building materials and medicine are higher,and the land-use efficiency of food, electronics, textile industry are relatively low.
