As the center of economic development in southwest China, Sichuan Province is important in regional development. As a province of agricultural economic development, its agriculture growths faster over the years, but it is still not be an agricultural strong province. It faced many serious problems such as the application of new agricultural technology, new management mode leads to the surplus of agricultural labors, the producers'professional skill is not high enough, the lack of the agricultural reserved land resources, smaller farm scale leads to lower efficiency. And the basic guarantee of economic and social development is the high efficiency of agricultural output, so, only rely on the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity can increase the productivity. For this reason, it is necessary to study the development of agricultural total factor productivity of Sichuan Province in the past 3 five-years planning. Through the analysis of the agricultural total factor productivity changes, dig the main influencing factors and put forward some relevant suggestions in the end.Based on the statistical method of agricultural input and output and input indexes, and use DEA-Malmquist index method to measure the agricultural total factor productivity in Sichuan. According to the result, agricultural total factor productivity grew by an average speed of 3.9% in every year, contributing 71.17% to agricultural productivity growth, a key factor is agricultural technology progress and its contribution reaches 105.1%. But the technical efficiency is blocking effect. Through the analysis of the convergence of the province and the five major economic zones, the research shows that it isn't balanced in the overall development of agricultural development and the internal differences are obvious.According to the empirical model of spatial econometrics constructed and analyzed the influence factors of Sichuan Province, the results show that geographic effects of space between individuals has a positive effect on agricultural TFP, as the rapidly expansion of technology and technology spillover efficiency, so, establish agricultural policies and implementation must consider the spatial effect. The influence degree of economic development level in Sichuan agricultural total factor productivity is still relatively low, that is to say the performance of the rural consumption level is still relatively low, the agricultural science and technology and the management consciousness is weak. The reason lies in the current rural area social security system is not perfect, the fear of consumption psychology still exists. The contribution of agricultural machinery power is not high enough, because of the mismatch between the research and development of machinery, the lower degree of popularization of agricultural machinery and the high cost of the use of machinery. The current operating scale of farmers has seriously hindered the improvement of the efficiency. It is urgent to reform the existing agricultural land management system and realize the scale management. The development of Sichuan agriculture needs to further improve the total factor productivity. At last,4 suggestions were put forward in the end based on the conclusions: Establish and improve the use of agricultural machinery system, and vigorously popularize the operation of agricultural mechanization; promote the consumption level of rural areas, strengthen the agricultural producers' sense of science and technology and agricultural consumption power; Give play to the role of regional spatial effect, promote the rapid expansion of technical progress and technical application; Reform the agricultural land transfer mechanism, realize the scale of operations and access to financial support.
