Abstract/Summary:
Land is the most basic natural resource and the material basis for the human survival and development. With the increasing contradictions among resources, environment and population, the research of land use/land cover change (LUCC) has become hotspot in the study of global change. As an important land use type, cultivated land is the most basic production material in agriculture. Cultivated land use change and protection have become the important components of land-use/land-cover change.China is a large agricultural country and a country with a large population, the per capita land resource is very short and the utilization efficiency is relatively low. Cultivated land is decreasing day by day, and the problem of food security caused by the loss of cultivated land has caused wide concern from the government and the community. Strengthening the research of cultivated land use change and analyzing its driving factors will promote the cultivated land use in reason. Meanwhile these will ensure the regional food security and promote the development of regional harmonious society.Shuangliu county is the key area of Chengdu plain economic circle of Sichuan province. In recent years, the rapid development of regional economy, traffic developed, the overall strength of the continuous enhancement with the increasing pressure of land supply and the contradiction between population and land is becoming increasingly acute. How to deal with the relationship between the limited land resource and social economic development has become a key problem to be solved in Shuangliu county. Based on the historical data of cultivated land and economic development data during 2002 to 2012, this paper analyzed dynamic change characteristic of the cultivated land of Shuangliu. And then, main factors of driving forces in cultivated land change was analyzed by the principal component analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results shows that:①The quantity change of cultivated land in Shuangliu can be divided into three stages, the first stage is 2002-2004years, cultivated land area decreased gradually, cultivated land decreased from 762314.5 mu in 2002 to 732749.3 mu in 2004. The second stage is 2005-2008years, the change of cultivated land area is relatively stable. The third stage is 2009-2012years, the area of cultivated land decreased rapidly, cultivated land decreased from 682125.7 mu in 2010 to 662313.6 mu in 2012. The quantity change of cultivated land is closely related to economic development and population growth.② The driving factors are summarized as the economic development factor and agricultural development factor which influence the change of cultivated land area in Shuangliu, and the economic factor is the key one. Principal component analysis showed that driving force comprehensive score of 2002-2006 are negative,-1.202,-1.269,-0.774,-0.662,-0.371, respectively. While driving force comprehensive score of 2007-2012 are positive,0.073、0.522、0.868、0.552、0.972、1.292, respectively. The driving force comprehensive score increased rapidly in 2003-2009, driving force comprehensive score somewhat down in 2010, and driving force comprehensive scores increased rapidly after 2010, which shows integrated driving force of non-agricultural is gradually strengthened.③ According to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the driving forces of cultivated land change, the protected countermeasures of cultivated land resource of Shuangliu are put forward from aspects for the laws and regulations, policy, economicand technical means, agricultural land structure adjustment and comprehensive land improvement.
