A Study On The Soybean Industry Development In Heilongjiang Province

Heilongjiang is the main producing area of soybean in China, known as the hometown of soybeans. Especially for the non-transgenic soybeans, Heilongjiang is a watchman. Therefore, Heilongjiang soybeans have strong competitiveness in the international market. However, with the development of genetically modified soybeans and the competition in the international soybean industry, Heilongjiang soybeans are experiencing an unprecedented crisis. Regardless of income, planting area or processing enterprises, the whole soybean industry chain in Heilongjiang is in a collapse situation. If Heilongjiang soybeans could be unable to get up after a fall,genetically modified soybeans from other countries will fully enter the national market and foreign soybean enterprises will control our soybean and related oil industry so that China’s soybean food security will be under great threat. Based on the basic theory of industry development, the paper analyzes the theory of industry,comparative advantage theory and international competitiveness theory. The situation of soybean industry in Heilongjiang Province is systematically analyzed.The paper carries out deep exploration research on the current situation of soybean industry trade in Heilongjiang province and national policy, history, experience,geography, environment and other advantages and disadvantages to the development of soybean Industry in Heilongjiang Province.Using the SWOT analysis method to study the opportunities and challenges of soybean industry development in Heilongjiang Province, and to explore the strategic policy for the development of soybean industry.The objective influencing factors and problems of the development of soybean industry in Heilongjiang province summarized, and the basic ideas and countermeasures put forward.This paper consists of seven chapters.
