| New product development is the mainly way of an enterprise to maintain a competitive advantage, the basis for the continuous development of the premise, especially in the current rapid development of new energy vehicles in the field of battery development, time is money, which companies can gain advantage in new product developers, which companies get their core competitiveness.B Company was founded in 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts with the goal of greatly improving the quality and safety of energy storage technologies that promoted environmental sustainability.In this paper, the basic theory of process management is summarized, and the main theory of gate management and its corresponding application methods are emphatically elaborated. On this basis, the author analyzes the present situation of B company's existing product development process, finds out the problems, and researches and analyzes the problem of project selection, product development cycle and product quality, and makes use of the theory of management, New product development process. The new product development is set to six stages and five levels, the content of the work of different stages of the definition of the design of the various functions of the duties of a clear definition, while the strict management of points.
