Taihang Anti-Japanese base areas is one of the important battle behind enemy lines during the Anti-Japanese war,it is the Central Command of Northern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee behind enemy lines.Handicraft this region rich due to raw materials and a long development history prewar,handicraft variety and wide distribution.After the foreign capital gradually infiltrated Taihang area in 1920s and 1930s,not only attacked the handicraft production,but also promoted the integration of machinery and improve production efficiency.After the outbreak of war,the Communist Party of China established bases here,the development of the handicraft industry also changed varies the war situation:from 1937--939 as the base built in the early period of the crazy Japanese attack was the cause of the handcraft recession;1940--1943 for the recovery phase of the development of handicrafts,during this period the Chinese Communist Party leadership people fight to war,famine,economic blockade so as to a certain part of handicraft recovery;1944--1945 is development stage of handicraft,this time Anti-Fascist war is getting better,also entered the Chinese Anti-Japanese counterattack,further large-scale production and handicraft development towards a climax.The reason why such a handicraft development showing several factors affect:mainly war damage,transportation,government support and other people in their efforts combined effects.Taihang Anti-Japanese Base development of handicraft production has four modes and three mode of operation:there were private individual workshops and cottage industries,public factories,public-private partnerships are mutual aid,cooperatives and some factories.Under the influence of special circumstances and location,Taihang handicraft has mass,self-sufficiency,seasonal,vulnerability and other features.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and united efforts of Taihang Anti-Japanese Base Area soldiers and civilians,handicraft obtained a certain result:many handcrafts reached self-sufficiency required to meet the people’s lives,there is also foreign exchange;carry out large-scale production campaign to make people crossing through famine;broke the enemy’s economic blockade and ensured logistical supply and promoted the final victory of the war;people got the status advancement,especially women and workers,but also greatly enhance their enthusiasm for production,consolidate base construction.But it is undeniable that the development of handicraft indeed many problems existing in the process.
