Now,Chinese economics has entered the new normal.However,under the complicated and grim situation of the external environment,how to do and choose what kind of development strategy is an important strategy for the firm.Moreover,how to adapt to the new economic norm,and how to earn the core-competitiveness in the Supply-side reform and SOE reform is an important issue.XINXING W,a subsidiary corporation of central SOE,who has three major industries,non-ferrous metals,business and real estate is faced with the serious transition.Under the pressure environment of externaland internal,XINXING W needs to adjust the structural and cut excessive industrial capacity,in order to get new profit growth.This paper analysesthe development strategy of XINXING W.Meanwhile,combined with the current supply side reform and the reform of state-owned enterprises,the paper analyses the core competitiveness of enterprises.Moreover,the paper examines the new strategic choice in“Thirteen five” period and the measures how to achieve the strategy.This paper finds that under the economic pressure of the external macroeconomic downturn,the XINXING W can actively adjust its own strategy,adapt to the current economic environment to innovation and adjust the business model.In deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises and the supply side reforms,XINXING W can deepen the reform andget a new profit growth point.This shows that XINXING W has a clear strategic positioning and has a strong referential significance for other firms.This paper uses the theory of corporate strategy and analyses the strategic development model of XINXING W,which enriches the theoretical research of enterprise strategy.Meanwhile,the research conclusions of the strategic choice behavior of the central enterprises have an important reference value for the strategic choice of peer companies.
