Research On The Construction Of Informatization Project Of G Group

With the rapid development of the information technology, enterprise informatization, an process of enterprise transformation that records, integrates all kinds of information in business operation and production and reorganize various business processes to adjust to the new management models by using information technology, has become increasingly important for all kinds of enterprises to improve management effectively.In the context of the current industrial transformation, Chinese enterprises like G Group, especially the large and medium-size enterprises and conglomerate, are eager to achieve business transformation, group strategy control, business cooperative operation by using informatization so as to promote business effectively, reduce the operating cost and maintain a sustainable and healthy development.Based on the needs of G group in business development and management, as well as the research and analysis on the operation, development strategy and informatization status of the group headquarter and its subsidiaries, the paper outlines the key requirements and overall plan for the establishment of the group-controlled integrated information platform, and introduces the framework and major modules of this system.Meanwhile, on the basis of the project management and business process reengineering theory, under the guidance of the informatization planning of G group and the principle of "unified platform, integrated application, overall planning, step by step construction", the paper designs the approach and procedures to carry out the construction of this project. It introduces the project organization and concludes four key points in project implementation: sustainability and security in managing and reforming, smoothness in switching the system from the old to the new one. It also points out the key points in implementing informatization project and shows the great achievements G group has made in group control, finance, human resources, and supply chain.This paper analyses and summarize motivation, demand, overall design, construction process and key points, the achievements of G Group and discusses the different ideas and the possible results of domestic enterprises during the informatization process. It comes to the conclusion that enterprises should, under the premise of respecting the scientific methods, such as management on business operation and project, make good top-level design in overall control of informatization based on its own characteristics, requirements and advantages; respect the best management practices in online business; control the critical nodes in system building, actively embrace the management reform brought by informatization in a top-down manner.I hope this paper can provide some experience for related enterprises in information construction.
