| Reproductive health care is imposed by the government and its fund is established by the national units, companies and individuals to provided compensation for medical expenses for women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. This means that reproductive health care is a kind of social security. The current maternity health care in Maoming City mainly includes maternity insurance, urban and rural residents constitute Medicare and Medicaid, which were built in different times with quite different levels of treatment. The equalization of the reproductive health care is studied from the equalization of basis public services perspective, through questionnaires and data analysis. Opportunities to get reproductive health care insurance, health care utilization and the level of reproductive health care are studies through these aspects, which are fertility Medicare Pratt & Whitney equalization, fairness and moderation. Since the current studies focus on maternity protection for workers, my study is about the maternity protection for all workers and residents, which makes the paper has theoretical and practical significance.There are seven chapters in this paper. The first chapter is the introduction, which is about the research background, the significance of the paper and the appropriate ways and ideas for research. The second chapter is about the theory of the equalization of reproductive health care, This part is the theoretical basis of the paper. The third chapter briefly reviews the history and the development characteristics of the reproductive health care in Maomning City. The fourth chapter analyzes the Maoming reproductive health care unequal status. This chapter is mainly about the result of the questionnaires for women who just gave birth to babies in 2015. The conclusion is that the neither the opportunities nor the results and the maternity insurance is equal for everyone. Chapter five reasons reproductive health care inequalities. The reasons are system supply inequality, unequal supply of funds, medical institutions and personnel supply inequality. Chapter sixth is about the proposals how to improve the reproductive health care equalization policy in Maoming City. The last chapter is about the insufficiency about the study and the prospect for the future study. |
