A Study On Employment Effect Of Producer Service Trade In China

As service economy in developed countries grow vigorously,service trade,especially,producer service trade has been developing rapidly.In many developed countries,producer service sector has become a new point of economic growth and a main sources of employment growth.China has a lager number of labors,which brings a great pressure of employment,and employment always has been the economic and social hot spot.As producer service trade constantly develops,the producer service trade will make a great impact on Chinese economy and society. Therefore,making a research on employment effect of producer service trade in China is significant.This study is established in international trade theory and other Theories.On the basis of statistical description on development characteristics in producer service trade and employment,there makes a positive analysis on the causal relationship about trade in producer service and employment of producer service sector,also, the employment effect made from producer service trade.The analysis shows that:(1)The trade of producer service is growing rapidly,which make it a higher proportion of service trade.Also,producer service trade is always been in deficit and its competitiveness is in a low level.Besides,the trade structure of producer service is been optimizing gradually.(2) Service sector has become a pillar industry which absorbs a lot of labors and promotes the employment,its proportion of total employment is low but rising.At the same time,the employment growth of service sector is slowing down,and the space to absorb labor becomes more and more narrow.(3)The employment of producer service sector is increasing rapidly.And its proportion of total service employment is continuously rising but in a small level which shows that its ability to absorb labor is not full in performance.Also,the structure of producer service sector becomes more optimizing.(4)Besides,There is a coordination between trade in producer service and employment of producer service when developing,and their characteristics are similar and sharing the same trend.Causality analysis shows that the there is a contact between trade in producer service and employment of producer service sector, and producer service trade is the Granger reason of its employment.Regression analysis shows that exports of producer service can promote employment, but imports of producer service have a negative effect on employment.Also,the employment effect of exports is greater than the employment effect of imports,which demonstrates that the development of producer service trade can promote the employment.According to the conclusions,some suggestions are put forward to promote the trade in producer service and employment of producer service:enhance the level of producer service sector and build a stable basis to producer service trade;make a proper strategic plan to promote producer service trade;perfect the laws and polices,open the producer service market conditionally;raise the quality of labor resources,foster high quality personnel.
