Empirical Study On The Main Influential Factors Of Insurance Development In Guangzhou

Entering the second decade of the 21 st century, the development of China's insurance industry has entered a new historical stage, during the process of shifting to a insurance power, how to make the Chinese insurance industry bigger and stronger, which needs to be thought deeply by every decision makers and managers. When we evaluate whether the development of China's insurance industry is good or bad, we should make objective evaluation for the development of China's insurance industry, especially for the objective evaluation of the regional insurance industry development. Because of this, building a evaluation index system to assess the development of China's regional insurance industry, which helps us find out the gap between China and developed countries in regional insurance industry and discover the shortage of Chinese insurance industry compared to developed countries in the world. It has very important practical significance for us to make China's insurance industry bigger and stronger.We investigated six insurance companies which managed in guangzhou city and has a certain industry influence. During the process of investigation, we delivered the questionnaires to the managers to collect data. After finished it, by using the analytic hierarchy process(ahp), the result demonstrated that the insurance regulation and insurance depth and density is very important to the development of the insurance industry in guangzhou.This article embarked from the goal of development of regional insurance industry, through analyzed different indicators in study, hoping to provide the objective guidance and advice for the decision makers.
