Near year, the flower industry that have become one of agriculture economy industry comportments of Guangzhou city develop rapidly. Until 2004,the flower growing area is about 8934.87 hm~2 and the flower production value what occupy one of four of flower industry in Guangdong is about 16.33billion Yuan, Although the flower industry take out quiet great progression ,the flower industry in Guangdong exist some problem.In order to finding development way of the flower industry of Guangzhou city, in 2003,2004 year, author adopt the investigation mean that is composed by chance sample and model sample, and investigated the main flower industry in Guangzhou seven section two cities. Author relies the flower industry status, the flower production scalp, main group, variety structure and city complete, and so on. by meticulous analysising studying, author eliciting the conclusion:(1) The woodyflower is the main flower group in Guangdong city. It include miniascape, virescence numb , looking fruit flower, corporation managing system form that have all people possession corporation ,folk manage corporation, foreign corporation, individual corporation, by hard working for many years ,the flower industry coming to being scale, output and production standardization have a good begin, city system have begin, production quality is becoming good.(2) The problems that exist in the flower industry recently are that: first, the iarge-scale enterprise are few. the small enterprise are many,, manage is disperse. second, production establishment is errand, production have low science and technology .third Government's macro adjustments and controls and policy guide remain to strengthen.(3) According to the current situation of the industry of flowers and plants of Guangzhou and existing problem. The development of the industry, should take market as the direction first in the future, give play to one's own advantage, adjust the kind, variety structure; Secondly should increase the input in science and technology , improve the engineering level , make great efforts to improve product quality, strengthen the market competitiveness ; Third, strengthen government's great rule to adjust and control , cultivate leading enterprises ; Improve the management system; Improve scientific research and popularize and build the system with the market, advance the industrialization process of the flowers.
