Research On The Evaluation System Of CoPS Innovation Capability Based On Maturity Models

With the advance of technology and the development of social economy, improving product complexity becomes the tendency of product innovation. The higher product complexity means larger value. Then, complex products and systems(Co PS) get the chance to flourish. The innovation of complex products and systems shows some particularities in technology innovation and organizational forms, In terms of technology innovation, Co PS innovation is based on the multi-field knowledge rather than a particular aspect of technical knowledge. Then, so many kinds of new technology need to match each other and integrate as a whole. In terms of organizational form, the cooperation across organizations happens in the Co PS innovation process because there are several participants involved. And most of the innovation activities are operated in project based organization(PBO). All these particularities ask for new evaluation system deferring from the evaluation system of common products. First, the capability elements selection should not only focus on technical characteristics but also consider management features. Second, more attention shouid be paid to effectiveness and practicability of the comprehensive evaluation method choosed.Based on domestic and international researches on innovation capability of complex products and systems, the characteristics of complex product systems innovation are summarized. And, the maturity model is established for Co PS innovation capability.Then four dimensions of complex product system innovation capability are confirmed, namely, technology capability, technology integration capability, project management capability and strategic management capability. And the capability level gets a partition and description. Then, this article chooses the analytic hierarchy process(AHP), clustering analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation(FCE) as the comprehensive evaluation method for complex products and systems innovation capability. Finally, the evaluation system established is applied to evaluated Co PS innovation capability of S Co..There are some theories about Co PS innovation capability evaluation and maturity model involved in the thesis. And this thesis aims to build a new, more practical evaluation system. The evaluation system will play an important role in Co PS innovation. On the one hand, it can help enterprises to evaluate and improve their innovation capability. On the other hand, it can be used to evaluate and choose its suppliers.
