Along with the growth of tourism market and the popularity of Internet technology, online travel agent(OTA) has been born. Although Ctrip now is in the lead, it's facing new challenges, the market is more and more competitive, new channels like group-buying and mobile is chasing the market share from traditional channels. Therefore, if Ctrip wants to keep the leader position in this “Internet +” era, it is important for it to enhance the existing profit model under the new economic situation. This thesis compares Ctrip's profit model with other OTA(Qunar and Elong), studies the online travel history. In this paper, the three companies will be compared from the profit model's elements perspective and financial perspective.Trough study, the thesis find that OTA industry has a seriously homogenization problem, Ctrip plays the scale effect well, but Elong is behind the competition now. To break profit model's limits, Ctrip and Qunar are both developing a new profit model, the OTA's profit model is more and more fuzzy.
