With the rapid development of air transportation industry, it has turn into the emphasis development industry for nation and local governments. As upstream industry of air transportation industry, the aviation manufacturing industry's development should be fit for the rate of air transportation industry development. Meanwhile, both are strategic industries in our country and high degree of industrial mutual relation, which drive effectively the development of other supporting industries and the formation of industrial agglomeration. Therefore, the coordination degree of both industries is worthy to study and discuss. The paper reviews and summarize the relevant theory and research method, using qualitative and quantitative research techniques to analyze the current status of these two industries, by applying the technique of factor analysis and grey correlation analysis to analyze the correlation and coordination degree between two industries. Its main content includes: First, describing the status and the level of development of two industries, as well as the coordination status between them. Second, Compared to the developed countries in these four aspects: industry quality, industrial relation, relative positon, supply and demand structure, in order to find out the gap. Third, Based on the theory of industry chain and industry relevance theory, to analyze the path of collaborative development of two industries, and to figure out the influence factors. Fourth, by applying grey correlation analysis to measure the correlation degree and coordination degree, in reference to the developed countries' status and historical experience to find out the reasons of problems.
