Study On The Competitiveness Level Of Science And Technology Service Industry In Hubei Province

Science and technology service industry is a topic what is often mentioned and updated.In the early 1992,it has proposed the concept of science and technology service industry.Science and technology service industry has not been associated with attention because of the low level of technology.In recent years,science and technology service industry pay more and more attention.In 2014,the State Council issued the relevant advice for the development of science and technology,this new policy will rise the development of science and technology service industry to a new level.Hubei province as a traditional education,innovative province,is facing a serious lack of innovative capacity,brain drain and other issues.Hubei bound to a large number of technology services business with the new policy of Hubei Province.How to identify and solve problems in Hubei province science and technology development of service industry has become a priority.Firstly,the paper made a more detailed exposition for science and technology service industry,which is the theoretical basis of this study technology services.In the second chapter,the paper resolves the development status of HuBei province from the number of enterprises in Hubei Province science and technology services,employment,investment in fixed assets,employees' wages and benefits promoted to investigate five aspects.But there are still some problems in HuBei province,such as unbalanced regional development,lack of personnel,lack of innovative capacity and inadequate development environment and other issues;In order to study the problems of technology services in Hubei province and in the country's development,the paper made empirical analysis in the third and fourth chapters.In the third chapter,the paper established evaluation bases for science and technology service industry by reading a lot of literatures.In combination with the development of science and technology service industry in HuBei province,the paper sets up the development of science and technology service industry environment,investment and spending three first-level indicators,and under the three primary index sets up 20 secondary indexes.This study lied the foundation for the empirical study.Grey correlation degree is used to illustrate the rationality of science and technology service industry index after index was determined.At last,we concluded the final target through quantitative analysis.In the fourth chapter,according to the science and technology service industry competitiveness evaluation index system,we conducted factor analysis and cluster analysis using SPSS16.0 software respectively.Through factor analysis to extract the three public factors,we named environmental factors,performance factors and input factors.Comparing Hu Bei province with other provinces in three factors,we obtained it ranked 12.According to cluster analysis,31 provinces and cities could be divided into four categories and hubei province in the second gradient.There was a gap with the first gradient and the second gradient.Finally,according to the analysis of existing problems of HuBei province in the second chapter and the result of empirical analysis in the fifth chapter,this paper gives the countermeasures and Suggestions from the angle of science and technology service companies and the government.In this paper,we found out the problems and relevant countermeasures and Suggestions based on the research of the science and technology service industry in HuBei province.Before the studying,we hope that it could give the Hu Bei province to providing theoretical basis for the development of science and technology industry.
