With the development of knowledge economy, knowledge workers have become the most important strategic resources of the enterprise. Knowledge workers master the core knowledge and technology, they play a positive or negative role in the enterprise, as well as their potential and personal ability to play a vital role in the enterprise. How to them for effective management, how to effectively motivate to maximize mobilize the enthusiasm of their work. This is related to the enterprise survival, related to the enterprise can remain invincible in the market competition for them.A pharmaceutical company was established in 1993, is a collection of pharmaceutical research and development, manufacturing, distribution and retail as one of the large pharmaceutical listing Corporation. The company's knowledge workers can be divided into research and development, management and sales of these three categories. Knowledge workers engaged in mental work, through the input of intelligence to create value for the enterprise, they have the ability to absorb knowledge, expand knowledge and innovative knowledge, with a distinct personality, the pursuit of a sense of accomplishment and self fulfillment.Through questionnaire, this paper believes that the A pharmaceutical companies in the process of knowledge based employee motivation mainly in the following aspects: the lack of effective incentive, lack of incentive compensation, lack of professional needs, lack of corporate culture and lack of incentive to work. A pharmaceutical enterprises should set up the incentive system of knowledge workers in the following aspects: to realize the work, to strengthen the autonomy and control of employees, improve the compensation and welfare system,improve the training system, improve the system, meet the professional needs,promote the business culture, enhance the employee's sense of identity, and give the employee a greater management and participation right.
