Research On High-Tech Manufacturing Industries And The Employment Effects Of College Students

At present, China's economic development is in a period of rapid growth, the supply-side structural reforms force the adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure. The economic development from the factor-driven, investment-driven to innovation-driven. The high value-added and knowledge-intensive industries in different areas change the technical and employment structure. Due to the unsustainable resources and environment, when the leading industrial cluster in the industrial structure is developing expansively, the advanced technology is needed to make it become a profitable industry and absorb a large amount of investment. In this way, the influx of funds contribute to expand the production scale and improve the production technology. The high tech industry emerged in the right time and the high-tech manufacturing industry is in the dominant position in the high-tech industry. The development of the high-tech manufacturing industry is a hot topic in the adjustment of industrial structure and the economic development in China. The adjustment and upgrade of industrial structure is from high energy consumption, high pollution, cheap labor production into development high technology industry, which is dependent on the technological innovation and high-quality talent, at the same time, plays the role of the market in the resource allocation. It is bound to affect the employment of college students, that is most concerned about currently and related to the long-term stable development of the community. The employment supply of college students is increasing year by year, the contradiction between employment demand and supply significantly. A stuctural problem exists in the employment demand of industry and the employment supply of college students. The employment of college students are not along with industrial distribution. The employment effect of industry has not yet been fully released, because the industry is restricted by its technical structure when it absorbed knowledge workers. Study on the relationship between the industry and the employment of university students in high technology manufacturing can reach a conclusion:the high technology manufacturing industry absorbs or excluds the employment of college students, which plays an important role on solving difficult situation of the current employment of college students.Through theoretical and empirical analysis, in this paper, take 278 listed companies for example, analyzes the relevance of listed companies in high-tech manufacturing industry and the employment of university students by collecting and selecting relevant datas, which makes a conclusion that the development of the high-tech manufacturing industry has effected on the employment of college students. Using quantitative analysis, such as correlation, regression, obtains the relationship between listing corporations and the employment of college students and concludes that the industry has high employment absorption capacity and the absorptive capacity is different in each industry. According to the different employment absorptive capacity, the author summarizes 4 influence factors:regional distribution factors, technology and R&D investment factors, enterprise scale factors, policy factors. At last,4 effects are obtained and the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the promotion of college students' employent in high technology manufacturing industry from different phases according to the results of empirical analysis and influence factor analysis.
