The Research Of Appropriate Scale Efficience Assessment In Gannan Navel Oranges Planting

Ganzhou of Jiangxi Province is the main producing area of navel orange,orange has gradually became an important vital industry of local economic development in Gannan.The smaller navel orange acreage and the lower labor rates,the weaker capability of capital accumulation of fruit industry and absorbing energe of new technology,all of these problems will seriously affect the navel orange industry.Although,blindly pursuit the planting acreage not only requires the high planting technology and stronger management capacity,but also may lead to the oversupply of Gannan Orange sales market and the low income.Therefore,it is very important that develop an appropriate navel orange industry.First of all,how to assess an planting scale is appropriate is critical? What we need to do is that employ a scientific and effective way to determinnig the optimal planting acreage urgently.The study is divided into three sections.Firstly,the development of Gannan navel orange planting acreage and output was analyzed in 2005 to 2013.We have already understood the develop trends of navel orange in recent years.Secondly,aim the 90 navel orange growers was been investigated in Ganzhou in 2014,the Gannan navel orange planting appropriate scale evaluation model was established by the means of DEA.Simultaneously,the problems of overall efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are finished off,DEA model was improved to determine the optimum planting size.Then the projection analysis was use to estimate the invalid scale and providing recommendations for the improvement of DEA.Thirdly,the correlation of Gannan navel orange planting factors(the explanatory variables)and the navel orange production(the dependent variable)was assumed and verified.Established a mathematical model of the explanatory variables and the dependent variable through a combination of gray correlation analysis and principal component regression method.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The speed of the planting acreage of navel orange is slowed down after 2006.In 2005 to 2012,the rate of the yielding of navel orange is stable basically,but there are a downing state in 2006 and 2013,the orchards suffered a incipient large-scale development,downing state and price downing that make the planting acreage less.(2)Gannan navel orange planting scale was calculated,and found that the 28.48 area in finalization of 20-40 areas is the best planting scale,this kind of acrage of planting not only can make full use of the advanced technology,but also input factors are most reasonable and achieving the large scale planting of Gannan navel orange.(3)Seven influencing factors which are navel orange acreage,number of workers,the head of household education,technical training and guidance the number of physical capital investment,family labor inputs,felled trees HLB was analyzed,then getting the most obvious orange factors and the model of independent variables and the dependent variables.(4)Through the establishment of Gannan navel orange planting scale evaluation model and the analysis and summaries of the related impact factors,the commendations was proposed in improve the income and yielding for government and farmers.
