Henan Province is a typical large province of population, farmland and food production, with the time change, population growth, need more land and food to meet its needs, and the current economic construction occupies large area of high quality field, resulted the loss of cultivated land resource, and food production reduced, either.Changing of increase and decrease among population, cultivated land and food have serious threated to the effective supply of food.Coordinate the effective use of farmland area and increase food production have become a problem that needs to solve. Taking the province as the research object, from 2000 to 2013 as the research period, this dissertataion analyzed the influence of the cultivated land use change impacts on the food productivity during the period; used the cultivated land pressure index to analyze the situation of cultivated land resources utilization in Henan province, and found out that the cultivated land use changes in quantity and quality with different period; applied principal component analysis method to analyze the pressure of cultivated land use in Henan Province, to find out the main factors that cause the shortage of cultivated land use;used spatial transfer coefficient to analyze the distribution and transformation of grain productivity in different regions in Henan province, then the common research index(cultivated land area, multiple cropping index, grain yield, grain planting rate) as its basis, and analyzed the coordination with cultivated land use, and the relationship between cultivated land use change and grain production capacity. Thus, this paper enmployed frontier food security theory and method to study key cropland use in Henan Province, which is not only benefit for sciectific understanding present Henan food production and cropland sustainable use issues, but also helpful for the future sustanible development. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) The cultivated land change significantly during the period in Henan Province. The area of cultivated land in Henan province has increased from the year of 2000 to 2013, the total population has increased from 94880 thousand in 2000 to 10610 thousand in 2013, while the per cultivated land has reduced from 0.0798 hectares in 2013 to 0.0768 hectares in 2000. With a certain amount of cultivated land, the population continues to grow, the scale of construction land expands gradually, the number of existing cultivated land resources can not meet the existing population base. In particular, the reform of the market economy and the macro level of policy support, Henan province has increased the investment in science and technology of agriculture, increase grain yields and rise the multiple cropping index become the most important to increase the amount of grain, which can fill the insufficient supply of grain caused by the lack cultivated land and the change of planting structure. It also provides an ample space to promote industrialization and urbanization, improve land ecological quality and adjust the agricultural structure.(2) The difference of cultivated land use pressure in the regions of Henan province. The cultivated land pressure index of 18 cities in the different regions of Henan during the period, resulted in different degree of change in value. From 2000 to 2013, the cultivated land pressure index volatility has in larger area, such as Zhengzhou,Shangqiu,Zhoukou and, under pressure for the cultivated land resources of zhengzhou city, the largest cultivated land pressure index increased from 1.576 in 2000 to 2.1849 in 2013, in shangqiu, zhoukou and cultivated land pressure index, from 2.0634 in 2000, 2.2701 to 1.6579 in 2013, 1.8752, it shows that the cultivated land pressure is restricted by economic development and cultivated land resources quantity. Therefore, it is one of the important ways to develop the potential of reserve cultivated land resources to increase grain production.(3) The use of principal component analysis and spatial transfer coefficient. According to the pressure index of cultivated land dynamic change rule, select 15 social economic factors as the research target, combined with SPSS software analysis, find out the population growth, economic development and progress of agricultural technology and agricultural structure adjustment are the four main driving factors affecting the pressure index of cultivated land in Henan Province. Among them, the driving force of population growth restricts the utilization of cultivated land resources in two ways: first is the people's eating problem, that is, the unit area of grain production capacity, second is it needs to allocate more cultivated land for people to live and improve infrastructure equipment; the continuous growth of economic factors has reduced the use of arable land, the size of the occupation of cultivated land increased year by year; with the agricultural technology progress and the adjustment of agricultural structure improving the ability of grain yield, so that people began to transfer the traditional mode of cultivated land use to a land management mode change which has a higher income. The use of spatial transfer coefficient of grain production is the key to the cultivated land change. Through the spatial transfer coefficient of grain production, the results showed that during the period of the study, eastern and southern areas in Henan which are the main grain producing areas in Henan Province, its grain productivity gradually decline, while the weak area in the north of Henan Province, with its rich agricultural resources as the basis, its grain production improves steadily. The west and central area in Henan has been an economically developed area and the province's major grain sales areas, but in the less developed and undeveloped areas and remote rural areas, because the construction area is less affected, cultivated land resource stock is maintained, this area gradually becomes a major grain producing areas. The spatial transfer of cultivated land's ecological environment is the inevitable result of spatial transfer of grain production. The east and middle areas in Henan are in a stage of rapid economic growth, even it has a superior farming basis, compensatory increase grain yield space has become a kind of fantasy, extensive cultivation leads not only waste utilization of local water heat and other natural resources, coupled with the existence of food price difference, which indirectly changes cultivated land planting scope in remote agricultural area, adding the pressure of farmland development in the areas where the original farming conditions is relatively weak.(4) Use transfer coefficient and the space of cultivated land pressure index in combination with bold, to find out in the process of land use change, food production area and grain production capacity of the extent of the impact on the space. The cultivated land pressure index and spatial transfer coefficient are integrated and try to find out the factors influencing the change of grain yield. Use the cultivated land pressure index to find out the land resources utilization status of the whole province and each city, and the spatial variation law of the quantity of cultivated land resources, combine the spatial transfer coefficient and grain production to define the change situation of grain production with time and space, combine the change of cultivated land use and the trend of regional transfer of grain productivity, find the relationship between cultivated land use change and grain security in Henan province, which can provide a goal to change the pattern of cultivated land utilization and increase grain productivity in Henan Province in the future.
