Study On The Relationship Of Transactive Memory Systems And Knowledge Creation: The Moderating Effect Of QM Practices

Nowadays,knowledge has become to be an important resource which can promote the growth of economy and society development.Knowledge creation not only means the capacity for developing the valuable thinking and scheme which organization should have,but it also means the process which develop the new knowledge to replace the old.As one of the most important process of knowledge management,knowledge creation process is the source of enterprise development and innovation.Transactive memory system(TMS)is kind of knowledge management system that can effectively help team members to manage knowledge.Exchange among group members can increase and organize the members ‘memories which can benefit the group knowledge creation and improve group performance.Quality management practices are variety of management measures and plans which can help the enterprise to improve quality,reduce costs and improve productivity.Eventually,it can improve the overall enterprise performance and enhance the competitiveness of enterprise.Currently,using the quality management theory to explore the knowledge management become to be the frontier of quality management.This essay will analysis literatures of TMS,knowledge creation and quality management.Then it will discuss the correlation among them.According to the literature review,the existing studies have investigated the relationship between TMS and knowledge creation and the relationship between quality management and knowledge creation.However,there is a lack of comprehensive research.This essay will study the relationship among the three.According the existing mature measuring questionnaire,it will survey the enterprise development team.Then using the SPSS statistical software to analysis these data,and discuss how TMS and quality management impact on knowledge creation.Furthermore,it studies the regulation effect of quality manageme nt practices on TMS and development team knowledge creation.The conclusions show that the interactive memory system has a positive impact on knowledge creation of R&D groups;The positive significant correlation between each dimension of quality management practice and knowledge creation of R&D group is found;when QM practices are included as a moderating variable,the relationship between knowledge creation of R&D groups and TMS issignificant.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,we put forward some suggestions.
